General
The Procurement Administrator II reports to a Procurement Administrator III in Contracts and Procurement and is responsible for preparing and processing Invitations for Bids (IFBs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Purchase Orders (PO’s) for the procurement of goods, materials, equipment, professional services, and public works.

This Administrative Analyst II (Finance) reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and analytical work in support of the CFO, Deputy CFO, and the Finance Division for the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans). SamTrans is the managing agency for three additional agencies: Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (Caltrain),. San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA), and the San Mateo County 101 Express Lanes Joint Powers Authority (SMCELJPA).
