The City is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who will be an integral part of the Maintenance Division in the Public Works Department. The Supervisor will work with the Maintenance leadership team to plan, direct and supervise a wide variety of tasks related to one or more of the Division's four sections - streets; fleet and equipment; buildings and facilities; and landscape and parks. The initial assignment will be supervising the landscape and parks sections.

You'll learn to paint and install traffic control markings on pavement as well as design, fabricate, install, repair and maintain traffic warning signs, parking signs and other signs.

Under supervision, performs routine semi-skilled to skilled grounds landscaping and maintenance work; performs preventive maintenance of District properties; and performs other related duties as assigned.

THE POSITION
