DEFINITION
Develop, organize, and implement delivery of recreation and social services to the citizens of Danville in accordance with program objectives set forth by the Recreation, Arts and Community Services Department. Perform professional duties in Community Centers, Village Theatre and Art Gallery, and/or Teen Centers, as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives direction from a Program Supervisor. Exercises supervision over Program Assistants and other program personnel, as assigned.

Salary: $111,408 - $132,815 Annually
(New Salary: $118,649 - $141,448 annually - pending conclusion of labor negotiations)

(Eligible for up to 7.5% incentive pay after probationary year plus $200 per month Bi-Lingual Pay)
Hours: Casual non-benefited employees are limited to working no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and no more than 900 hours in a fiscal year (July 1-June 30). Varying shifts are available including Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This program allows families and individuals currently living in their vehicles a safe place to park overnight. Safe Overnight Parking Attendants would perform site inspections and enforce site policies, supervise participants, and manage each CAREavan facility.
