The Administrative Services Director (ASD) is a management-level, at-will position, reporting to the City Manager, and is a member of the City’s executive management team. The ASD plans, organizes, manages, and provides administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the Administrative Services Department. Responsibilities include financial management and reporting, budget development and oversight, general accounting, debt management, cash flows, investments and banking functions, human resources and payroll operations, and information technology.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The San José City Attorney’s Office has an opening for a trial attorney. The position requires excellent legal research and writing skills; command of rules of evidence and civil procedure; comprehensive analysis of claims and defenses, and a demonstrated ability to execute appropriate discovery, motion, and trial strategies with effective written and oral advocacy. Trial experience is desirable. Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
