Our Minimum Qualifications for consideration are:

Counter Services Technician I:

Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by specialized training in the building trades, civil engineering, code compliance, planning, or a related field.

Experience: One year of increasingly responsible experience providing customer service at a public counter or office that provides construction, architecture, engineering or similar services is desirable.

Counter Services Technician II:

Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by specialized training in the building trades, civil engineering, code compliance, planning, or a related field.

Experience: Two years of increasingly responsible experience providing customer service at a public counter or office that provides construction, architecture, engineering or similar services.

The City of Patterson is seeking to fill one (1) part-time vacancy for a Facility Attendant in the Recreation Department and to establish an eligibility list.

Duties include, but are not limited to: under direct supervision, performs a variety of facility related tasks to ensure effective operations at the Recreation and Community Services Complex and related facilities and parks. Prepares facilities for use; works with users during events; provides set-up and arrangements for classes, meetings, and public and private events; registers participants for recreational programs; assists with cleaning and maintaining of Community Services' facilities including removing and disposing of trash, sweeping, and mopping of floors.  Provides staff support for recreation events and programs. 

This is a part-time position with hours up to 19 hours per week.  Must be available to work nights and weekends with varying shifts and schedules.

The City of Thousand Oaks is currently accepting applications to fill several part-time, hourly positions in the Library Services Department. The position will require working at both the Grant R. Brimhall and Newbury Park Branch locations.

Library Pages are typically scheduled to work 15-18 hours per week, which can include morning, evening or weekend hours.

Primary responsibilities:

• Shelve and maintain books placed on shelves
• Assist with unpacking boxes of materials, including unloading and sorting donations
• Assist with processing materials
• Assist with meeting room set-up
• Perform basic clerical and routine tasks
• Assist in maintaining the library collection and public areas
• Assist library staff with special projects and programs as assigned, such as crafts for story time

Details:

• Part-time regular position, must be willing to work varied hours including operational holidays, Saturdays, early morning hours (from 4:30 a.m.), and/or evenings (until 8:30 p.m.)
• Pay ranges from $22.51 - $28.77 hourly with Excellent Benefits (see below)
  • This position will receive a four percent (4%) cost of living increase effective April 2024. The new salary range effective April 2024, will be $23.41 - $29.92 hourly

Minimum Qualifications for consideration: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade

Experience: One year of experience in the operation of a transit vehicle.

License or Certificate: Possession of an appropriate, valid commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement. Possession of a valid Medical Examination Certification. Possession of, or ability to obtain within the initial training period, a Verification of Transit Training certificate.
