The City of San Jose is recruiting for a part-time School Crossing Guards in the Police Department during the normal school year. Work involves providing for the safe conduct of elementary and junior high school children across heavily traveled streets and reporting problems requiring possible police action.
Under supervision, a Police Cadet is a non-sworn classification that assists police personnel in a variety of operations in order to gain practical knowledge of law enforcement. Qualified candidates will obtain practical work experience that supports their career goals.

THE POSITION: The City of Campbell is currently recruiting for a School Crossing Guard position.
Be an important member of a successful team of individuals committed to the safety of school children in our community. School Crossing Guards work approximately 20 hours per week during the regular school year. School Crossing Guards are assigned to designated locations in the City of Campbell assisting elementary and junior high school students to safely cross the streets.
SALARY: $14.00-$16.00 Hourly
