The City of Sunnyvale invites applications for Public Safety Dispatcher in Training. Under supervision and in a trainee capacity, processes emergency and non-emergency calls for service; dispatches police, fire, medical, rescue, animal control or other emergency equipment, by telephone or radio, utilizing complex technical aids, such as computer aided dispatch systems (CAD); and performs other related duties as assigned.

Per the City’s COVID19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy, the City requires all employees starting on or after February 11, 2022, to provide proof of vaccination as a condition of employment absent a documented medical and/or religious exemption. Proof of vaccination means that employees are required to be “up-to-date” with regards to the COVID-19 vaccine.

The City of San Jose, Office of the City Attorney is seeking a civil litigation attorney.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Admission to the California State Bar is required for this position. Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years recent civil litigation experience. Jury trial experience is preferred. Hiring criteria include command of rules of evidence and civil procedure; a demonstrated ability to analyze claims and defenses to execute appropriate discovery, motion and trial strategies; proficient legal research skills supporting effective written and oral advocacy.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The City of Gilroy is recruiting for the full-time position Public Safety Communicator in the Police Department. This is a lateral position requiring two and one-half years of public safety dispatching work experience. The general goal of the Communications Unit is to provide 24 hour emergency communication response for all police, fire, and medical emergency calls for service in a courteous and professional manner.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for performing paralegal duties in connection with the Litigation Department requiring both sound judgment and good technical skills. These duties may include, but are not limited to drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing administrative records, responding to public record act requests, summarizing records and assisting attorneys with management of case files.
