THE POSITION

Tri-City is now actively recruiting for a Program Support Assistant IV (i.e. Office Specialist) to directly support Medical Records/Front Desk Support Department.  

A summary of the variety of duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and provide general information to clients, visitors, vendors and staff, in person and on the telephone in a professional manner;

• Performing administrative and general clerical duties at the front desk, in medical records and operating the switchboard and provide lead support when necessary;

• Processing Release of Information and subpoena requests; process and audit Protected Health Information (PHI) for electronic health records, general clerical duties including copying, filing, data entry, preparing correspondence, etc. ;

• Assist clients by referring them to sources of information, handing out standard forms and explaining how to complete them, and answering requests for factual information by consulting various available sources;

• Maintain records, logs, files, and other forms of information, including demographic reports and room schedules;

• May provide coverage in any category of the department related to Front Desk, Operator and Medical Records as needed and appropriate to class series;

• Work independently and efficiently in Microsoft Office, electronic health records with the ability to work with multi-disciplinary staff and communicate effectively and other duties as assigned.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking one (1) vacancy for a Clinical Therapist I/II for our Therapeutic Community Garden (TCG). The Clinical Therapist I/II position will appeal to individuals who are enthusiastic and passionate about working with an engaged population with behavioral health challenges.  The Clinical Therapist I/II will report to the Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate therapeutic support groups in a garden setting and virtually using mindfulness techniques.

• Perform community outreach internally and externally;

• Create and develop curriculum for the TCG Program;

• Contribute to monthly program report writing;

• Process incoming and outgoing referrals for TCG;

• Work on a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery;

• Create and develop TCG workshops for the community;

• Assist in maintaining data related to activities performed by TCG team;

• Perform other duties as assigned.

THE POSITION

Tri-City's Housing Department is recruiting to fill the vacancy of Community Navigator* to provide advocacy for clients through outreach and mental health education to the landlord community by bringing awareness to mental health challenges and reducing stigma.  This position is full-time and will report to the Housing Supervisor.

A brief summary of essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of specialized duties to promote Authority programs, services, and mental health education to the general landlord community to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and establish collaborative relationships.

• Serves as a liaison between tenants, landlords, and property managers to mitigate and mediate conflicts and ensure the continuity of housing services for clients.

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in a variety of events and presentations to engage clients and the landlord community, promote the Authority, provide mental health education, increase the availability of housing resources and services for clients, and promote positive tenant/landlord relations.  

• Visits properties throughout the Tri-Cities area to establish rapport with landlords/property managers and promote/provide information about the Authority’s programs and services.  

• Oversees Shelter Plus Care vouchers for clients receiving mental health services; assists voucher holders with relocation services including locating acceptable housing and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

• Creates and develops promotional material, such as flyers, presentations, and charts.

• Prepares and maintains current Housing List of all available housing and provides regular updates and distribution to Authority staff.

• Maintains accurate, detailed, and thorough documentation, case records, notes, and data of all activities and services related to client interactions, housing, and referrals.

• Assists with the preparation and maintenance of various reports.

• Maintains client confidentiality in compliance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) regulations.

• Observes and complies with all Authority and mandated safety rules, regulations, and protocols.

• Performs related duties as required.

*This position is currently classified as a Community Navigator position.  However, in order to better define this role within Housing, the position is undergoing review pending a title change and description revision in 2022.  The current and proposed job descriptions are included below.

Our Child and Family Services Department is now recruiting for a part-time, bilingual Mental Health Specialist (“MHS”) on our School Partnership Team.  This position will work approximately 20-25 hours per week.  

The MHS will appeal to individuals who are passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families in the office and/or in the school setting.  

The positions are responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Provide individual, family, group rehabilitative services for children, adolescents, and youth with behavioral health issues and their families that does not require licensure;  Operate as the primary case manager and facilitate the child and family team meetings;
• Provide crisis support, field visits coordinate services with the team and completed all necessary Department of Mental Health document; Document and maintain records as required and as credentialed, include attendance records, daily visit logs, daily and/or weekly interdisciplinary notes;
• Collaborate with families, schools, DCFS and probation as needed;  
• Assist with coordination, linkage, and screening of referrals from local school districts to Tri-City;
• Validate and process service requests for entry into mental health programs;
• Ensure records are in compliance with Federal, State, Local and Agency regulations for records including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, Public Law 111-005 (“HITECH Act”);
• Transport participants as necessary or assigned;
• Provide advocacy for participants as needed to ensure inclusion in all aspects of the community including education, socialization, employment and housing;
• Develop and determine appropriate referrals for the continuation of care; and other duties as assigned.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is now accepting applications for a Program Analyst I/II to directly support our Chief Clinical Officer.  Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Program Analyst will assist with program and grant management, data tracking, development departmental workflows, clinical program improvement, and act as a liaison between the clinical department and other departments.

A summary, but not a fully inclusive list of the types of duties this position will perform are as follows:

• Facilitate the process for the development of departmental and program workflows, processes, policies and procedures.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures, research grants and pull together reports and data to for grant preparation.

• Review of data files and databases; work with Best Practices to secure proper data sets and reporting for reports.

• Create reports to be used for grants and department or program development, implementation and improvement.

• Prepare data to assist in required quarterly reports, annual updates, and other analyses and evaluations for all agency programs.

• Assist in the development of work products necessary for all phases of programs.

• Maintain records and documentation for grants; work with Finance on budgetary data.

• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of Protected Health Information (PHI) of clients served by Agency to comply with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
