The Transit Manager is an important part of the City's transit team that provide services including the Auburn Loop fixed route and Auburn OnDemand ride share programs.

Under direction of the Public Works Director, the Transit Manager is responsible for the management, supervision and participation in the daily operations of the Transit Division. The incumbent can expect to be involved in the daily operations, division’s budget, capital and grant-funded development projects, and a wide variety of administrative, research and analytical duties in support of assigned department.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

The following duties are typical for this classification. Actual work may vary based on department needs or change due to evolving business practices.

• Plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and participates in the daily operations and staff work of the Transit Division, participates in budget development and administration, and selects, trains and evaluates personnel.
• Establishes schedules and methods for providing transit services, schedules drivers and ensures coverage of shifts, coordinates maintenance and allocation of vehicles, provides safety training, and responds to accidents and incidents, conducts investigations, and takes corrective actions.
• Coordinates transportation needs for schools and special events, coordinates transit activities with other divisions and agencies, and performs customer relations tasks, including answering questions and issuing passes.
• Develops and implements goals, objectives, policies and priorities for the Transit Division, ensures compliance with established policies and procedures, and works with local businesses to promote transit services.
• Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares reports to support decision-making, provides staff assistance to higher-level management, identifies opportunities for service improvement, and recommends changes and improvements to standards and procedures.
• Participates in committees and prepares reports, represents the City at various meetings and events, attends professional group meetings to stay informed about industry trends.
• Perform related duties as required.

The Yuba County Probation Department is seeking to fill a full-time Correctional Technician position at its Youth Detention Facilities. Working under general supervision, the Correctional Technician is responsible for monitoring video and audio systems to maintain the safety and security of both youths and staff within the secure detention areas. Additional responsibilities include performing various technical and clerical tasks related to the intake and release process for juveniles at the Tri-County Juvenile Hall and Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center, inputting relevant data into the booking system, documenting observations of juveniles, providing public reception and assistance, and other related duties as assigned.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

Essential:

• Process paperwork provided by law enforcement officer or the courts for new inmates or youth; verify information on booking forms; obtain signatures; oversee telephone usage; obtain photographs; inventory and securely process property and money for safekeeping.
• Gather and enter inmate or youth information into computerized booking system; prepare and route computer-generated booking; complete files, logs, charts and other documents associated with jail or juvenile detention facility booking activities.

The City of Auburn is seeking a dedicated and proactive law enforcement professional to serve as the Chief of Police.

This position will lead our dedicated department and be instrumental in guiding our department through today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. The City has 85 full-time employees serving 14,000 residents. The APD is a team of 24 sworn officers and 11 professional staff providing patrol, investigations, 911 dispatch and other law enforcement services. What You Will Do

The Chief of Police is responsible for the planning, administration and operation of the APD under general administrative direction. APD utilizes the Community-Oriented Policing philosophy and the Problem-Oriented Policing strategy to better serve the community. Under general supervision, the Lead Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in guiding and overseeing a team of Intelligence Analysts. About The Agency

The Northern California Regional Intelligence Center (NCRIC) and Northern California High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (NC HIDTA) is seeking a Lead Intelligence Analyst. The NCRIC/NCHIDTA fusion center is located at the Phillip Burton Federal Building, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA. Most Lead Intelligence Analyst positions are in San Francisco. Positions may become available at off-site locations within the area of responsibility. The hours of service are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Personnel assigned to the position may work 4 days a week with 10-hour days.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

Education equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Information Management, Criminal Justice or a related field; and

Three (3) years of experience involving crime data collection, statistical research and analysis, and working with criminal intelligence automated systems design and implementation.

Licensure/Certification: Possession of or acquisition of a valid certification in Crime and Intelligence Analysis within twelve (12) months of appointment or other training certification that demonstrates qualifications that meet or exceed competencies identified in the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative, Law Enforcement Analytic Standards Booklet, 2nd Edition: Law Enforcement Analytic Standards (ojp.gov) , and the Common Competencies of Intelligence Analysts, 1st Edition: Common Competencies for State, Local, and Tribal Intelligence Analysts (ojp.gov)

Other Requirements: Must successfully complete a thorough law enforcement background investigation/security clearance prior to appointment and obtain a National Security Clearance within the first eighteen (18) months of employment. Within the Finance and Administration Division, the Port's Information Technology group consists of Business Applications and Infrastructure teams. We support the Port's mission, strategic plan, and daily operations with a focus on positive relationships with and quality service to everyone associated with the Port.

Under the general direction of the Information Systems Director, the Business Applications Manager (1070 IS Project Director) manages the Business Applications team, which is responsible for providing comprehensive production maintenance and support of the Port's various systems and business applications to ensure optimal uninterrupted daily operations. The areas of support include but not limited to, supply chain management (SCM), procurement, payroll, timekeeping, human resources, financials, collections, property management, maritime, reporting, interfaces, document management, and collaborative tools.

A critical function of the role also includes providing techno-functional leadership on application-related projects.  The Port is initiating a long-term strategy to modernize and upgrade software applications and retire its aging and custom legacy applications, such as with the Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite ERP system, which is used to track work requests, facilitate work orders, maintain assets and inventory, manage time keeping, procurement, and other vital functions. As the application has become obsolete and minimally supported by Oracle, there is an urgent need to identify and implement a new software solution.  The Business Applications Manager will serve as the technical lead on this replacement project currently underway, working alongside a project manager, vendors, the Business Applications team, and Port staff.

The essential functions of this position include: 

• Organize, direct, and supervise the work of a small team of techno-functional, senior level, business system analysts and external consultants.
• Collaborate with the team on escalated issues technically complex in nature to bring about resolution. 
• Lead technology projects and formulate strategies for business applications development and integration with other applications, such as with GIS and PROPworks.
• Serve as a liaison between Port staff and applications, facilitating effective communication to define project requirements and objectives.
• Participate in the planning of resources, budgets, and project timelines. 
• Oversee the further development of, and promote the usage of, collaborative and document management tools like SharePoint. 
• Monitor system alerts, and work with the Port IT Infrastructure team, consultants, and vendors to resolve system-related issues affecting application uptime.

Education:

1. An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.

OR

2. Its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units:

• At least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely related field.

Experience

Seven (7) years of experience in system administration, information systems development, maintenance and support, or information technology project management, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.

License and Certification

Possession of a valid California driver’s license (to be presented at time of appointment). Insurability under the Port’s automobile liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment.

Substitution

Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years).

Note:

One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours of work experience (2,000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours a week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.

One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.

NATURE OF WORK

Candidate must be willing to work a 40-hour week as determined by the Port. Twenty-four (24) hour on-call support and occasional weekend and after-hours work is required. A hybrid schedule may be coordinated with the candidate’s supervisor.

SCCHA’s Real Estate Development Division is a mission oriented, dynamic, and collaborative team, working closely together to creatively develop new affordable housing as well as preserve existing assets in service of the tenants and communities we serve.  By embedding the innovative spirit of the Silicon Valley into our agency’s culture, we are elevating our efforts to address the affordable housing shortage in Santa Clara County.  To ensure equity and justice, we prioritize housing developments for extremely low-income individuals and families that embrace residents’ lived experiences.  Our resident-centered approach leverages our real estate capacity, talented staff, and community partnerships. 

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be a part of the real estate department and help us to develop a pipeline of over 20 projects and over 1200 units of affordable housing.  We are looking for an individual that will oversee and manage a team of project managers with projects ranging from new construction multi-family housing, renovation and rehabilitation of existing structures, repurposing of commercial properties for affordable housing, and master planning of large transit-oriented sites.

What Our Team Is Looking For:

Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience likely to provide the required core competencies may be considered. A typical combination that is qualifying may include: 

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in community development, business, economics, urban planning, or a related field; and
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in residential property development, acquisition, and/or rehabilitation, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) from applications and financing through conversion, to permanent financing, including two (2) years of experience supervising and managing affordable housing and development programs, budgets, activities and staff.
