THE POSITION

• Under the supervision of Medication Support Team manager or assigned designee, candidate will be responsible for scheduling all Initial Medication Evaluations, as well as keeping count of number of IME’s scheduled, attempts made, rescheduling, removal of candidates and all necessary functions related to the scheduling of IME, including documentation of action taken per Electronic Health Record.

• Completion of all Pharmacy requisitions and flex funds as indicated on a monthly basis.

• Under the Supervision of Medical Director-Compile Weekly Initial Medical Eval Reports, Monthly IME reports, blocking of all MD schedules including for vacations, trainings and meetings.

THE JOB

They will direct the development of organization-wide goals, policies, and procedures and keep the Governing Board aware of financial conditions, program progress, and the organization’s needs. This job requires financial savvy and organizational development expertise. Implementing strategic plans is essential for this role, as it involves spearheading innovative change. Additionally, the Executive Director must be able to provide policy guidance and ensure compliance with governmental regulations. STEP #4: ORAL BOARD INTERVIEW

• This is a panel interview. Candidates will be asked five to eight questions. Pass Point is 70% or higher. Results are valid for three years.

STEP #5: BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION PROCESS

• Eligible candidates will complete a Personal History Statement (PHS) packet. Background investigators will then be assigned to assist candidates through the process. Upon successful completion and review of the background investigation, the hiring board will make their employment selections. Those selected will receive a conditional offer of employment, contingent upon successfully passing a medical and psychological exam.

STEP #6: THE SAN JOSE POLICE ACADEMY

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill three (3) full-time vacancies for the position of Psychiatric Technician I/II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). Tri-City’s MCCP is a 24/7 mobile crisis response team with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays. Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Psychiatric Technician I/II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client’s (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;

• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedures;

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;

• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;

• Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them;

• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.

• Perform triage and linkages to non-client community members in the Tri-City catchment areas.

• Perform critical incident debriefs at the request of a community partner.

• Ability to respond to a mobile crisis in the community catchment area (Pomona, Claremont, and La Verne) within 60 minutes of disposition.

• Follow up with clients who receive mobile crisis services and collaborate with the client's treatment team for warm hand-off.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to calls during assigned shifts including: after regular business hours, late evenings, overnight hours, and on weekends; field work may be required.
