LIBRARY SPECIALIST – RECEPTION – ROHNERT PARK HEADQUARTERS
40 HOURS PER WEEK – FULL TIME
This position has a fixed (non-flexible) schedule of Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm with a 1-hour lunch, while our Headquarters building is open to the public.

The Position: The Police Officer Trainee participates in a Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) – certified Basic Law Enforcement Academy, resulting in graduation and certification, to enable the individual to become a sworn Police Officer with the City of St. Helena.
This is a non-sworn classification structured for incumbents hired for the purpose of becoming sworn police officers, but who have not yet entered or not yet completed the California POST - certified Basic Law Enforcement Academy.
The City of Saint Helena is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The Police Officer is required to perform a full scope of assigned law enforcement duties and responsibilities under general supervision. Police Officers are expected to work various shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and weekends. Currently Police Officers are working a 12-hour schedule.
The following duties are considered essential for this position:
SMART is the San Francisco Bay Area's newest transit system serving Marin and Sonoma counties. We began revenue service in August 2017 and were the first new railroad in the country to begin service with Positive Train Control installed. We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals who enjoy the challenge of creating new processes and systems. Under direction, the Signal Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of grade crossing warning devices, signaling and SMART's Positive Train Control system, rail safety communication systems and car borne signal components.
