The Property Manager I/II position is in the Finance and Administration Division at San José Mineta International Airport and reports to a Senior Property Manager in one of three groups including Airlines, Concessions, or Commercial Properties. This position has overall responsibility for day-to-day property management of Airport tenants, including airlines, concessionaires, airline support companies, rental cars, Fixed Base Operators and non-aeronautical commercial properties. The Property Manager will perform a wide variety of related work as required. A disclosure of outside investments, real property interests, income and business positions is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Negotiates the terms and conditions of leases, permits, and other agreements with tenants and lessees of such properties as terminal facilities and service outlets relating to auto rental, lands, and buildings.
- Implements retail merchandising programs for all terminal space at the Airport, including market research activities, product surveys, feasibility studies, and market testing
-Develops and implements marketing and promotional material for concession tenants
-Develops, implements, and manages a tenant customer service program
-Collaborate with internal teams to plan and optimize the use of space
-Coordinate office relocations and space modifications as needed.
-Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial metrics.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to property management activities.
-Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations and address compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, contracts, and related documentation.
- Conducts research and analysis to ensure the maximum economic utilization of Airport lands and properties.
- Develops and maintains a tenant-relations policy to ensure a favorable working relationship between the Airport administration and its tenants and lessees, including a mechanism for the disposition of tenant complaints.
- Prepares Request for Proposal (RFP) and lease documents; administers RFP and bid procedures in accordance with management policies and applicable law.
- Participates in directing, planning, and coordinating all tenant alterations and modernization projects relating to Airport property.
-Periodically inspects all leased and rented Airport property to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
- Answers inquiries from the public and interested parties regarding the leasing and rental of Airport properties; disseminates information as required.

The final candidate's qualifications and experience shall determine the actual salary. In addition to the starting salary, employees in this classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay, which is included in the range below.

The Property Manager I salary range is $84,084.00 - $102,276.72 annually.
The Property Manager II salary range is $102,276.72 - $124,400.64 annually.

The total salary range for the Associate Transportation Specialist Position classification is $54.94 to $72.69 hourly or $114,266.88 to $151,198.32 annually. Planning, Policy, and Sustainability Division: Transportation Planning & Policy (Multimodal Planning)

This Associate Transportation Specialist position is in the Transportation Planning & Policy team. The position focuses on developing long-range multimodal transportation improvement plans (MTIPs) for planned growth areas in the city. An MTIP is a community-based transportation plan for a study area that builds upon past planning efforts, reflects the priorities of demographically diverse neighborhoods, and defines a path forward for implementing multimodal transportation improvements that address community needs and accommodate future growth. The position works with community members to identify strategies and infrastructure investments that provide safer, more affordable, and healthier mobility options for people of all ages and abilities.

This position reports directly to the Transportation Planning Manager and supervises one Transportation Specialist and interns. The position works directly with six staff in the Transportation Planning & Policy team. The position manages the Multimodal Planning function of the team to deliver MTIPs as well as oversee subsequent planning phases leading to the delivery of planned projects. Constructive, creative, and self-motivated, demonstrating a strong desire and skills to support transportation planning needed to achieve the Envision San José 2040 General Plan Goals and Policies are required. The position requires occasional attendance and participation in public engagement activities in evenings and on weekends.

Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Plan, coordinate, document, analyze, report, for project management.
• Conduct in-person and virtual public engagement activities including workshops, focus groups, stakeholder interviews, field surveys, transit/bike/walk audits, pop-ups, and pop-ins throughout the city.
• Manage the development of multimodal transportation improvement plans, written reports, memorandums, and presentation materials, etc.
• Analyze information using geographic information system software (e.g., ArcGIS).
• Prepare drawings, figures, methodologies, and documents using design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, InDesign, Sketchup, and Adobe InDesign and Illustrator).
• Coordinate and oversee the transition from the planning phase to design, construction, and monitoring phases of transportation projects.
• Communicate with Major and Council offices, members of the public, community organizations, City staff, and neighbor and partner agencies.

The Department: 
 The Assistant City Clerk’s Office/City Manager’s Office is recruiting to fill a Deputy City Clerk. The Assistant City Clerk’s Office is organized under the City Clerk’s Office.  The Office of the Assistant City Clerk processes the agendas for and attends all meetings of the Council and Authorities Concurrent and Stadium Authority meetings, maintains accurate and up-to-date records of the proceedings of those meetings and makes those records open for public inspection. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk processes and maintains copies of City contracts, ordinances, resolutions and other official documents. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk manages and compiles City records in accordance with the Records Retention Schedule and in response to Public Records Act requests. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk administers campaign and disclosure laws, the Campaign Finance Ordinance, Regulation of Lobbying Activities program and the Calendars of Certain City Officials program.  The Position: 
 The Deputy City Clerk will report to the Assistant City Clerk and perform highly complex administrative and analytical work. This position will assist the Assistant City Clerk in the administration of the City Clerk's Office. The incumbent will assist in developing, implementing and coordinating projects, programs and procedures. This position is responsible for assisting with Public Record Act (PRA) requests and this position will also support projects and programs within the City Manager’s Office. Incumbents in this position will have considerable independence in making judgment related to their assignments and must handle situations with great sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. May supervise or act as lead worker to staff involved in management activities.  
 
As a member of the City's unclassified service, this is an "at-will" position. The incumbent serves at the discretion of the City Manager.

The Department of Public Works is recruiting for a Chief of Surveys to provide the following typical duties and responsibilities which may include but are not limited to:

• Supervises an office technical staff in the preparation of drawings, corner records, record of surveys, reviewing improvement plans and specifications, parcel maps and tract maps.

The City of Dixon is accepting applications to fill one (1) full-time position of Transit Driver/Dispatcher and to establish an eligibility list for future use.  

This position drives a Readi-Ride General Public Paratransit Vehicle (GPPV) on a demand responsive curb-to-curb transit system and assist patrons boarding and leaving the bus, especially the elderly, disabled, and school age children. May also assist in collecting information relating to the operation of the system; receive ride requests and organize the vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs; and, will work closely with the drivers and Transit Supervisor to ensure coordinated efforts.

The Office of the City Clerk is a service department within the municipal government upon which the City Council, all City departments, and the general public rely for information regarding the operations and legislative history of the City. The City Clerk serves as the liaison between the public and City Council and provides related municipal services, including delivering fiscal, human resources, and administrative and technical support services to the Mayor's Office, City Council Offices, and for the City's Boards, Commissions and Committees.The Office of the City Clerk is recruiting for a full-time Legislative Secretary to become part of a dynamic and productive team. KeyResponsibilities
In order to fulfill these job duties, a Legislative Secretary should have good knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation and be experienced with standard office practices and procedures with the skills necessary to organize, coordinate, and prioritize assigned tasks in order to meet established daily deadlines. The position requires the ability to type 55 words per minute with proficiency using MS Word, or equivalent, with the ability to follow strict formatting requirements for the preparation of meeting agenda, synopsis, and/or minutes for each Council, Committee, Board or Commission meeting. The employee may be expected to learn various software systems including Granicus and become proficient at posting or editing documents for publication on the web and to the GILES Records Database.

Agenda : The Legislative Secretary is responsible for preparing a variety of documents (Agendas for City Council, Council Committee, Boards or Commissions) utilizing wording and layout based upon standard formats to ensure consistency and compliance with the City's legislative procedures; posting documents in accordance with State Brown Act and City Open Government requirements. The Legislative Secretary may be responsible for the assembly and distribution of those documents to elected officials, City Administration, media and the public under tight deadlines.

Minutes : Responsibilities include attending City Council, Council Committee, Board or Commission meetings and taking complete notes of actions taken while utilizing Granicus software and/or other audio recording equipment to provide for storage and playback. Subsequently, the Legislative Secretary is responsible for preparing a synopsis and/or minutes of the meeting which accurately reflect the course of the proceedings and actions taken by the body for the approval by the City Clerk for publication and distribution within prescribed deadlines. The Legislative Secretary must selectively condense and paraphrase the discussions while exercising care to include relevant materials and to accurately record the vote(s) taken. The development of complete synopsis and/or minutes requires the Legislative Secretary to review all documents on which the Council, Council Committee, Board or Commission has taken action to ensure that the documentation is complete and accurate.

Records Management : The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for maintaining records and documents and other public disclosures required under State and local laws to be filed by elected officials, candidates for public office, lobbyists, campaigns, Board and Commission members, designated employees, and other governmental agencies. The Legislative Secretary is responsible for reading, indexing, filing, researching and retrieving documents considered and acted upon by the City Council, Council Committee, Board or Commission, as well as other documents required to be filed with the City Clerk including contracts, agreements, maps, disclosure forms, etc. The Office must respond to requests under the California Public Records Act for information from members of the public and media and/or research information, as well as records and documents requested by various City departments and other public agencies.

The Transportation Supervisor is an important part of the City's transit team that provide services including the Auburn Loop fixed route and Auburn OnDemand ride share programs.

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for Auburn Transit daily operations; perform regular road supervision, vehicle trial checks, and daily vehicle inspection monitoring.
• Establish schedules and methods for providing Auburn Transit services; schedule drivers to ensure routes are completed in a safe and timely manner; coordinate any changes to facilitate coverage for all shifts.
• Coordinates transportation needs for local schools and special events; prepares calendar of trips or special events to be incorporated into the bus timetable; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.
• Provide an increasing level of customer service and satisfaction by providing service that is flexible, dependable, and consistent.
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards and procedures.
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; implement approved policies and procedures.
• Participate in the selection of Bus Drivers; provide or coordinate staff training; issue manuals, bulletins and technical guides to improve services and operational activities; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures.
• Coordinate training for driver certification and maintenance of certification; document all training in the driver training records; act as a liaison with CHP and DMV regarding certification and training record documentation.
• Provide staff assistance to the Transit Manager; participate on a variety of committees; prepare and present reports of operations and activities and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary.
• Coordinate maintenance for buses and allocate buses to be used on routes.
• Respond to the scene of transit vehicle accidents and passenger incidents; provide on the scene assistance to drivers and passengers.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; make prompt and accurate reports; review investigation with transit drivers and determine accident preventability and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Act as Safety Liaison with various agencies including police and emergency authorities as necessary.
• Provide regular informational and safety meetings.
• Perform a full range of customer relations; answer questions from the public relating to bus routes and schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs; issue bus passes.
• Work with local businesses to promote the use of Auburn Transit and fulfill the optimal service hours of the route.
• Operate a bus as necessary to cover shifts.
• Perform related duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of: Operational characteristics, services, and activities of a public transit program; principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation; operational characteristics, maintenance, and emergency repair principles related to assigned vehicles; vehicle inspection principles and practices; geography of the City; pertinent federal, state, and local codes, laws, and regulations including traffic and safety laws, ordinances, regulations, and rules applicable to the operation of vehicles in the transportation of passengers; certifications required for the operation of a bus carrying passengers; occupational hazards and standard safety practices; methods and techniques of public relations and customer service; principles and procedures of record keeping; safe and defense driving principles and practices; basic first aid principles and practices.

Ability to: Supervise, direct, and coordinate the work of lower level staff; select, supervise, train, and evaluate staff; prepare clear and concise reports; drive a bus and other automotive equipment safely and efficiently in traffic; maintain order among passengers on a bus; properly load, tie down, and secure wheelchairs on the bus; interpret and apply applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures; work safely and adhere to principles of safety; respond tactfully, clearly, concisely, and appropriately to inquiries from the public, press, or other agencies on sensitive issues in area of responsibility; compile data, maintain records and files, and participate in the preparation of clear and concise reports; independently prepare routine correspondence and memoranda; operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
