The Human Resources Officer reports directly to the Assistant City Manager and performs a variety of complex technician and administrative activities in support of the City’s human resources program, including recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, training, benefits, risk management such as worker’s compensation, safety, and/or insurance, as well as employee relations, HR-or risk related contracts and grants administration. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to lower level personnel.

This position is on-call 24/7 and is located at the Bus Transit, San Rafael Office.
SALARY RANGE: $117,728.00 - $142,292.80 annually plus excellent benefits
Employee pays 7% of salary/wage toward CalPERS retirement plan
