The Human Resources Officer reports directly to the Assistant City Manager and performs a variety of complex technician and administrative activities in support of the City’s human resources program, including recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, training, benefits, risk management such as worker’s compensation, safety, and/or insurance, as well as employee relations, HR-or risk related contracts and grants administration. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to lower level personnel.

This position reports to the City Manager and is responsible for developing and administering the City’s economic development programs; acting as a liaison between the City and City businesses; and representing the City with the Greater Sacramento Area Economic Council, the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Lincoln Association and other public, private, or nonprofit groups and associations interested in economic development.
