Auburn Transit is looking for qualified individuals with a valid CDL to join our transit team. These positions are seasonal, part-time and each has a maximum of 999 hours of work per fiscal year. The incumbent's schedule will be based on the designated bus route shifts and may vary to accommodate community transit needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Bus Driver II operates and maintains a variety of transit and General Public Paratransit (GPPV) vehicles to transport passengers in a safe, courteous and reliable manner. This position will primarily transport passengers on commercial motor vehicles, but may provide transit services through Auburn OnDemand, the City's ride-share service.

Auburn Transit provides fixed and on-demand transportation services to the community. In addition to designated bus routes, Auburn Transit works with other local transit agencies to ensure adequate services are provided for school needs and special events. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Bus Driver II is a journey-level classification responsible for full range of duties and operation of all transit vehicles in the fleet. It is necessary incumbents have a full knowledge of transit laws, operating procedures and policies. The role performs under general supervision from the Transportation Supervisor or designee and does not involve supervision over other staff.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

The following duties are typical for this classification. Actual work may vary based on department needs or change due to evolving business practices.

• Operates a bus or other General Public Paratransit (GPPV) vehicles on City streets and highways in all weather conditions to transport passengers on established routes with designated stops, on-demand rideshare services, field trips and special events.
• Ensures passenger safety by observing passenger behavior, verifying safety belts are secured and rendering aid to passengers in an emergency.
• Assists passengers boarding and deboarding as needed or requested, including senior citizens, individuals with disabilities and care-dependent persons.
• Operates a smart device and two-radio to respond to transit dispatch and on-demand rideshare requests requiring adjustments to existing schedules and routes.
• Operates automatic wheelchair lifts, collects fares, issues passes, secures wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
• Promptly notifies management and completes reports regarding accidents and incidents involving vehicles and passengers.
• Conducts mandatory daily pre-trip vehicle inspections adhering to state and city regulations before each route, including reporting inspection results, daily trip logs, and required vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Performs minor maintenance, repair and cleaning of transit vehicles and fleet storage facility.
• Adheres to all public transit federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
• Maintains a valid California driver’s license and passenger certifications required by the state vehicle code, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Transportation and other applicable standards.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

The Yuba County Probation Department is seeking to fill a full-time Correctional Technician position at its Youth Detention Facilities. Working under general supervision, the Correctional Technician is responsible for monitoring video and audio systems to maintain the safety and security of both youths and staff within the secure detention areas. Additional responsibilities include performing various technical and clerical tasks related to the intake and release process for juveniles at the Tri-County Juvenile Hall and Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center, inputting relevant data into the booking system, documenting observations of juveniles, providing public reception and assistance, and other related duties as assigned.

• Process paperwork provided by law enforcement officer or the courts for new inmates or youth; verify information on booking forms; obtain signatures; oversee telephone usage; obtain photographs; inventory and securely process property and money for safekeeping.

The City of Auburn is seeking a dedicated and proactive law enforcement professional to serve as the Chief of Police.

This position will lead our dedicated department and be instrumental in guiding our department through today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. The City has 85 full-time employees serving 14,000 residents. The APD is a team of 24 sworn officers and 11 professional staff providing patrol, investigations, 911 dispatch and other law enforcement services. What You Will Do

The Chief of Police is responsible for the planning, administration and operation of the APD under general administrative direction. The Position
In general, the Supervising Custodian is responsible for planning, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating the work of a group of custodians engaged in cleaning and general maintenance of County buildings, offices, institutions, and other facilities.
 
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of recent custodial/janitorial experience in a large institution, including one year in a supervisory role. They should possess extensive technical knowledge of modern custodial equipment and cleaning methods, along with basic computer skills.

This ideal candidate also is an effective communicator who builds trust, motivates a cohesive team, and works alongside them to foster a results-driven attitude. They are a critical thinker who goes beyond routine tasks, maintains a meticulous approach to cleanliness, and ensures a professional environment. Strong customer service skills and a warm, friendly demeanor are essential.
 
The current vacancy requires working an evening shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM PST. There may be occasional weekend shifts as well.

About The Agency

The Northern California Regional Intelligence Center (NCRIC) and Northern California High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (NC HIDTA) is seeking a Lead Intelligence Analyst. The NCRIC/NCHIDTA fusion center is located at the Phillip Burton Federal Building, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA. Most Lead Intelligence Analyst positions are in San Francisco. Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience involving crime data collection, statistical research and analysis, and working with criminal intelligence automated systems design and implementation.

Within the Finance and Administration Division, the Port's Information Technology group consists of Business Applications and Infrastructure teams. We support the Port's mission, strategic plan, and daily operations with a focus on positive relationships with and quality service to everyone associated with the Port.

Under the general direction of the Information Systems Director, the Business Applications Manager (1070 IS Project Director) manages the Business Applications team, which is responsible for providing comprehensive production maintenance and support of the Port's various systems and business applications to ensure optimal uninterrupted daily operations. The areas of support include but not limited to, supply chain management (SCM), procurement, payroll, timekeeping, human resources, financials, collections, property management, maritime, reporting, interfaces, document management, and collaborative tools.

A critical function of the role also includes providing techno-functional leadership on application-related projects.  The Port is initiating a long-term strategy to modernize and upgrade software applications and retire its aging and custom legacy applications, such as with the Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite ERP system, which is used to track work requests, facilitate work orders, maintain assets and inventory, manage time keeping, procurement, and other vital functions. • Organize, direct, and supervise the work of a small team of techno-functional, senior level, business system analysts and external consultants.
• Collaborate with the team on escalated issues technically complex in nature to bring about resolution. 
• Lead technology projects and formulate strategies for business applications development and integration with other applications, such as with GIS and PROPworks.
• Serve as a liaison between Port staff and applications, facilitating effective communication to define project requirements and objectives.
• Participate in the planning of resources, budgets, and project timelines. 
• Oversee the further development of, and promote the usage of, collaborative and document management tools like SharePoint. 
• Monitor system alerts, and work with the Port IT Infrastructure team, consultants, and vendors to resolve system-related issues affecting application uptime.
• Implement and upgrade system hardware and application software as needed. 
• Ensure that the organization adheres to IT best practices, policies, and procedures in compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Education:

1. An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.

OR

2. Its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units:

• At least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely related field.

Experience

Seven (7) years of experience in system administration, information systems development, maintenance and support, or information technology project management, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.

License and Certification

Possession of a valid California driver’s license (to be presented at time of appointment). Insurability under the Port’s automobile liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment.

Substitution

Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years).

Note:

One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours of work experience (2,000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours a week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.

One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.

NATURE OF WORK

Candidate must be willing to work a 40-hour week as determined by the Port. Twenty-four (24) hour on-call support and occasional weekend and after-hours work is required. A hybrid schedule may be coordinated with the candidate’s supervisor.

The Position

The Human Resources IT Manager - HRIS/HRMS (Manager) will possess in-depth knowledge of the functions of human resources in a large, complex organization and how HR programs and software work within a company's culture and infrastructure.
