Lifeguards patrol and watch the activities in and around the community swimming pool, enforce regulations to prevent accidents, and rescue swimmers in distress. This position is responsible for driving a City owned vehicle to transport Belmont Residents to and from the Belmont Senior and Community Center. The incumbent may perform other tasks as assigned by Parks & Rec/Senior Center Staff.

- Position Summary
Under general supervision, operates a variety of transit vehicles to transport passengers along specific, assigned routes according to the District's requirements. Provide service in a safe, courteous and reliable manner. Responsible for written reports and other information as required. Upon completion of the Golden Gate Transit Training Program, the employee operates regularly scheduled assignments. All runs will originate in either Santa Rosa, Novato or San Rafael.
The City of Belmont is seeking a Pool Manager / Senior Lifeguard to supervise the Summer Aquatics Program at the Carlmont High School Aquatics Center.
• Must hold current Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED and First Aid Certificates. With proof of payment, the City will reimburse you for the cost of the lifeguard certification training at the end of the aquatics season.
