Help Build a Stronger Community Through Books! We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Library Page to join and contribute to the smooth operation of the library. This position is more than shelving books; it's about connecting people with information, encouraging a love of reading, and ensuring the library remains a welcoming and invaluable resource for everyone.
The Idea Candidate
The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with a passion for literature and a desire to serve the community. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor, is flexible and willing to learn new tasks and skills and can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy individual who supports learning, community engagement, enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to providing inclusive service.
Schedule: Hours may vary. The Library is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Temporary employees are limited to working no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and no more than 999 hours in a fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
