The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a driven, tech-savvy, service-oriented, visionary leader to elevate and manage the Information Technology Department’s Project Management Office (PMO) Division while being hands-on in driving successful execution of projects. This Division focuses on project delivery, portfolio and project management, strategic alignment, business process redesign, Request for Proposals (RFPs), requirements definition, and analysis.
THE POSITION
Under supervision of the Utilities Superintendent, the Water Treatment/Distribution System Operator will be responsible for a variety of operational and general maintenance tasks on the City’s water treatment and distribution systems. The position will entail the proper operation of each of the City’s well sites, laying and fitting pipelines, installing, reading, repairing water meters, maintaining records of water infrastructure, and other duties as required and assigned.
THE POSITION
The City of Hughson is seeking to fill the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Under immediate and general supervision, learns to perform and performs the full array of duties assigned to classes in the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator series, including operations, controls and maintenance work in Public Works wastewater treatment plant facility; demonstrates a full understanding of all applicable policies, procedures and work methods associated with assigned duties; performs other related duties as required.
