Public Safety Dispatcher: Under general supervision, to receive and transmit routine and emergency telephone, radio and computer messages; to keep a variety of police records; and to do related work as required.
The City of Sunnyvale is seeking to fill the position of Public Safety Dispatcher with an energetic and highly motivated individual who possesses excellent customer service, technical and interpersonal skills.
Under general supervision of the Senior Public Safety Dispatcher, processes emergency and non-emergency calls for service; dispatches police, fire-fighting, medical, rescue, animal control or other emergency equipment, by telephone or radio, utilizing complex technical aids, such as computer aided dispatch systems (CAD); and performs related work as required.
POLICE DEPARTMENT COLLEGE INTERN

The City of Gilroy is recruiting two (2) college interns to work in the Violence Prevention Division of the Police Department. The intern will participate and work with the Violence Prevention staff on a variety of tasks that aim to promote youth and family empowerment, prevent violence, and support community and police relationship-building efforts.
The San Jose Police Department is currently recruiting for a School Safety Supervisor position. The School Safety Supervisor will be part of the San Jose Police Department's Support Services Division, School Safety & Education Unit. The School Safety and Education Unit provides administrative support and staffing for the Adult Crossing Guard Program for the City of San Jose. Additionally, the Unit coordinates the training and supervision of Student Safety Patrols at elementary schools located throughout the City.
Electrician I: annual salary range is $80,246.40 - $97,656.00, hourly range is $38.58 - $46.95
Electrician II: annual salary range is $84,302.40 - $102,564.80, hourly range is $40.53 - $49.31
NOTE: The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Electrician classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Parking Enforcement Officer is a civilian, non-sworn position. Under the direction of a police supervisor, the Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for a variety of routine traffic enforcement and control duties, related primarily to the enforcement of municipal parking laws and regulations.
