TYPICAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE
This position at the Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency, Public Health Department, under general supervision will serve as a generalist with our reception/front office team, performing a wide variety of duties involving multiple administrative and customer service functions that require knowledge of the terminology, procedures, and practices for the assigned functional area and performs related work as assigned. This position is full-time and scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Epidemiologist. Under general supervision the incumbent will, plan, develop, conduct, and evaluate epidemiological research, investigations, and disease surveillance systems; collaborate on development of public health intervention and prevention programs; provide consultation to departmental and community health professionals; oversee staff and program implementation for Public Health programs with an epidemiology component; and perform other duties as assigned. This is stand-alone advanced professional level classification.
Salary Range: $90,500.80 - $110,011.20 / year

This stand-alone medical professional classification reports directly to the County’s Health Officer. The Physical Therapist performs physical therapy in a Medical Therapy Unit for the California Children’s Services Program for physically disabled children and adolescents. The incumbent will work directly from a physician’s prescription, which frequently allows considerable latitude in methods of treatment.
