The County Executive’s Office is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Procurement Management Analyst.  This position will provide the chosen candidate with the opportunity to support the Procurement Division by combining both procurement expertise and technical systems expertise.

The Management Analyst (MA) will serve as the subject matter expert for procurement policies. They will rely on their strong writing skills to translate their expertise to training materials, procurement manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc. Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills will support their ability to lead and deliver training and serve as a procurement consultant to all county departments and special districts. The MA should exemplify thoughtful engagement and collaboration across the organization. 

The MA will bring strong technology expertise to the role to assist County departments in implementing OpenGov Procurement, the County’s electronic procurement platform. The MA will also be a stakeholder in system development. This includes implementing new functions, executing change management, and operationalizing across the organization. They will also ensure procurement policies are appropriately engaged in the system through regular audits and reporting. Innovative solution-driven systems management will be a core competency of the MA. 

The MA will also participate in a variety of special projects, which will engage the MA’s analytical foundation, adaptability, and project management skills. Successful candidates will combine procurement and technical systems fluency towards assigned special projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer electronic procurement platforms.
• Develop procurement and systems related materials including but not limited to:
• Training documents
• SOPs
• Policy guides and manuals
• Lead trainings, both virtual and in-person.
• Provide procurement consultations across a spectrum of staffing levels and procurement expertise.

This is a limited-term position. Limited-term positions are full-time, fully benefited, temporary positions. This current position is funded for up to three years, depending on the department’s needs.  Limited Term employees receive medical and dental benefits, like regular employees, and a defined contribution retirement plan (401-A).

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.  A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

• At least three years of professional administrative experience as a Contracts Analyst, and at least one year of experience in relationship management, one year of experience in data reporting, and one year of experience with project management.
• Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, or a related field. 

Knowledge of:

• Knowledge of public procurement processes at the organizational and departmental levels.
• Principles and practices of public procurement processes, including current trends in policy, planning, finance, and related issues.

THE POSITION

We are currently looking for a Psychiatrist I/II to provide psychiatric services to both children/adolescents and adults. This position will support both adult and children’s services based on operational and clinical needs, with work time anticipated to be divided by approximately 50% adult services and 50% children/adolescent services, subject to change based on clinic needs.

The Psychiatrist I/II will provide medical and psychiatric treatment and diagnostic services to clients in the caseload of Tri-City and provide collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team in a public mental health agency. Provide integrated, effective, and high-quality behavioral health care to the residents of Pomona, Claremont and La Verne with moderate to severe functional impairment due to mental illness.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Perform intake and diagnostic interviews on a scheduled and emergent basis.

The Communications Division of the County Executive’s Office seeks well qualified candidates for the position of Visual Media Production Specialist.

The Visual Media Production Specialist (VMP Specialist) will join a dynamic and committed team of communication professionals including the Chief Communications Officer, Communications Officer, Social Media Specialist, and Civic Engagement and Public Outreach Specialist.

The VMP Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, editing, and distributing comprehensive multimedia and visual communications content in support of County programs, services, initiatives, and community engagement efforts. This position requires regular fieldwork and travel throughout San Mateo County to capture video, audio, and photographic content at County facilities, community events, program sites, and other locations.

The VMP Specialist will independently manage multimedia production operations, including video, photography, digital and print design, podcast production, and related visual storytelling mediums.  The VMP Specialist will also produce highly complex, high-visibility projects, manage the video/production room and related equipment in the County Executive’s Office, and establish production standards. Responsibilities will span the full production lifecycle, from strategic planning and creative development through post-production, publication, and archival management. In addition, the VPM Specialist may lead cross-departmental initiatives.

The VPM Specialist will exercise substantial independent judgment in creative interpretation, technical production decisions, and brand alignment. The primary focus will be on producing engaging multimedia content that effectively represents the County’s mission across multiple media formats.

Examples Of Duties

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conceptualize, script, storyboard, and produce multimedia content including promotional and informational videos, documentary-style program features, public service announcements, podcast and audio productions, digital graphics and print publications, and professional photography.
• Provide video and photography services including official County events and public meetings, executive leadership portraits, community engagement activities, program documentation and field operations, creation and maintenance of digital photo archives.

• Salary Range from $69,597.00 to $88,853.00 annually 
  • 3% Cost of Living Adjustment increase effective 6/29/26

The City of Orinda is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative accounting professional to join our Administrative Services team as a part-time Accountant working approximately 20 hours per week. This position provides key support to the Senior Accountant and plays an important role in maintaining the City’s financial integrity through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and analysis.

What You’ll Do
Under general direction, the Accountant performs a variety of professional-level accounting duties in support of the City’s financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger review
• Supporting accounts payable and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Reviewing financial transactions for proper coding and available budget
• Preparing financial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation
• Assisting with budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and fiscal analysis
• Participating in the file preparation of required State and Federal financial reports
• Assisting with audits, special projects, and process improvements
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset records, including depreciation tracking
