The Finance Department monitors the fiscal operations of the City of Albany and coordinates the preparation and publication of the biennial operating budget, midyear budget review, debt issuance, annual update of the master fee schedule, annual financial statements, development of five-year revenue  and expenditure forecasts, and cost analyses of labor contracts.

The Department performs the operating functions of cash receipts, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, business licenses, revenue invoicing, administration of bonded debt, business/residential transactions, and financial reporting for all funds including special revenues, grants, and investments and completes the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).

San Mateo County Health's Aging and Adult Services Division is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Social Worker II (SW II) to provide a wide variety of services in such areas as information and referral, supportive services, protective services, out-of-home services, health related services, and other welfare within San Mateo County Health and the Human Services Agency.
 
The current vacancy is in the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) / Partners for Independence (PFI) Unit - Community Services (CS) that provides CS services coordination for adults who have complex medical and psychosocial needs and are at-risk for out of home placement.  ECM/PFI CS is a voluntary program that may be offered to San Mateo County residents who have Medi-CAL, who are aged and/or disabled with CalAIM CS needs.  
 
Distinguishing Characteristics
The Social Worker II screens applicants’ eligibility for CalAIM CS services. The SW II will travel throughout the County to conduct home visits to educate eligible clients regarding services, participate at Interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings, coordinate services to assist clients and to perform other duties of the position.

 The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• Excellent communication skills with seniors, cognitive and behavior challenged clients and their caregivers to develop an appropriate respite schedule for clients.
• Experience using comprehensive assessment tools to identify the needs of CalAIM CS applicants/participants. 
• Understanding of human development and behavior within diverse populations.
• Ability to independently develop and implement sound case plans of action.
• Experience balancing client-centered care coordination and the accompanying administrative documentation.
• Familiarity in implementing program regulations.
• Superior organizational skills to manage a large caseload and related documents.
• Proficient computer skills to use several independent data base systems as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.

The County of Yuba is recruiting for both Extra-Help and Full-Time Juvenile Corrections Officers I/II, in an effort to fill current vacancies and expand staffing levels. These positions are located on the Tri-County Youth Rehabilitation Campus which falls under the Juvenile Institutions Division of the Yuba County Probation Department.  The primary responsibilities of this flexibly staffed position are to: provide care, custody, supervision, and control of youth housed in the secured detention facilities while they are pending legal action or serving a post adjudication commitment; ensure and sustain a safe and secure environment for youth; and coordinate counseling and behavior modification activities associated with the operation of the facilities.

About Detention Services & Yuba County:

Our Department believes people can change and we can be instrumental in supporting that change.  We are  a small workplace family that supports one another to accomplish our mission and allow our team members to live full lives outside the workplace. Our Campus provides youth detention services to the communities of Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties as well as several contract counties through our Camp Singer program.  We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and includes the Tri-County Juvenile Hall, Secure Housing Unit, and Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center (Camp Singer), under a Joint Powers Agreement between the three counties. Our Department is the administrative agency responsible for the management and daily operation of the facility. The shared goal of facility staff is to provide youth with support and tools that will assist them with successfully reintegrating back into the community.  Staff are provided with state mandated relevant training, which includes youth trauma; crisis management; cultural competence; mental health awareness; sexual abuse and harassment; and proper use of force.

POSITION

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Woodland Public Library is seeking a team-orientated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Library Program Manager to provide oversight, development, and implementation of programs and services primarily related to adult services with general library support. Library Program Manager I: This is the entry level class in the professional library series. Library Program Manager II: This is the journey level class in the professional library series. Positions in this class are flexibly staffed and are normally filled by advancement from the lower class of Librarian Program Manager I, or when filled from the outside, require prior professional library work experience.  Appointment to the higher class requires that the employee be performing substantially the full range of duties for the class and meet the qualification standards for the class. Work in this class is distinguished from that of a Library Program Manager I by greater complexity of the assignments received and by greater independence with which an incumbent is expected to operate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

About the Position

The Public Works Maintenance Worker I is an entry-level classification in the Maintenance Worker series. Assigned duties in this classification are routine tasks requiring no experience or limited experience. Employees at this level perform a limited range of duties under immediate supervision in accordance with established guidelines and procedures and are not expected to perform with the same independence of supervision and judgment on matters related to Town guidelines and procedures as Level II/III.

Employees at this level receive immediate supervision from a manager designated by the City Manager and functional supervision from higher level Maintenance Workers. Incumbents may provide limited direction to less experienced employees in this classification or to seasonal workers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience and Education: Sufficient education and experience to satisfactorily perform the duties of this classification. A typical qualifying background would be completion of high school or the equivalent and one year of experience in maintenance related work.
• License: Possession of a valid, appropriate State of California Driver’s License.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of:

•  Basic skills in landscape maintenance, carpentry and plumbing, mechanics.
• Tools and equipment used in public works maintenance and construction.
• Safe work practices.

Ability To:

Ability to perform essential physical functions with or without accommodation. These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Intermittently sit while driving, operating equipment, or completing forms/work papers; stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and reach while inspecting or repairing, digging or clearing, and using various tools and equipment; perform simple and power grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation; distinguish colors used in marking utility facilities, and lift or carry weight of 100 pounds or less.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and operate light motorized equipment.
• Read, write, and understand English and perform basic arithmetic computations.
• Perform rotating work assignments.
• Work in inclement weather.
• Work extended or irregular hours.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
