The City of Brisbane is currently recruiting for a Public Works Maintenance Worker I. Under the general supervision of the Public Works Team Leader, this position performs a variety of semi-skilled work in the maintenance, construction, modification, repair, and operation of City infrastructure, including water systems, storm and sanitary sewers, parks, streets, trees and landscaped areas; and performs other related duties as required. PWII: $15.92 to $20.33 per hour.
PWI: $15.20 to $19.40 per hour.
Contracted Pay Rate Increase effective July 9, 2018:
PWII: $16.40 to $20.93 per hour.
PWI: $15.66 to $19.98 per hour.
This is a regular, full time position with full benefits.
ABOUT THE POSITION
POSITION: The Maintenance Aide will perform routine and repetitive maintenance manual tasks in the areas of building, grounds, streets, parks, and various City facilities; and perform related work as assigned. This position is closely supervised by a full time staff member of the Public Works Maintenance Division.
STREET MAINTENANCE WORKER I/II
Level I - $4,285 - $5,209 per month
Level II - $4,499 - $5,469 per month
