The City of Thousand Oaks has an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Services Supervisor (Fleet Services Manager) at the Municipal Service Center. The Fleet division provides preventative maintenance and repair for the City’s 200 vehicles and 380 pieces of equipment.
Primary responsibilities:
Administer City-wide vehicle & equipment maintenance and repair program, including schedules and methods for maintenance and repair
Coach and develop staff; evaluate performance
Supervise, assign, and monitor work performance and quality to ensure a high performance and customer service-oriented work environment
Prepare applications and filings for oversight agencies-CA Air Resources Board, and Permitting reporting
Prepare budgets, studies, and reports for City management, boards, commissions, and other organizations
Administer fleet software programs and publish reports
Manage the City’s alternative fleet and procure fuel supplies
Work with other City divisions, outside agencies, and citizen groups
Prepare specifications and make recommendations on purchase, sale, and disposal of vehicles and equipment
