 The Accounting and General Services Specialist III position is in the Community Action Department. This position performs a variety of highly complex technical para-professional administrative duties including lead and/or supervisory duties in support of one or more of the following functional areas; facilities management, fiscal and accounting; department administrative or department projects, or programs, that require a thorough knowledge of the terminology, procedures, and practices for the assigned functional area; and performs related work as assigned. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintains routine and highly complex administrative, accounting, personnel, payroll, and/or fiscal records.

The Yuba County Probation Department is seeking to fill a full-time Correctional Technician position at its Youth Detention Facilities. Working under general supervision, the Correctional Technician is responsible for monitoring video and audio systems to maintain the safety and security of both youths and staff within the secure detention areas. Additional responsibilities include performing various technical and clerical tasks related to the intake and release process for juveniles at the Tri-County Juvenile Hall and Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center, inputting relevant data into the booking system, documenting observations of juveniles, providing public reception and assistance, and other related duties as assigned.

The current vacancy is in the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) / Partners for Independence (PFI) Unit - Community Services (CS) that provides CS services coordination for adults who have complex medical and psychosocial needs and are at-risk for out of home placement.  ECM/PFI CS is a voluntary program that may be offered to San Mateo County residents who have Medi-CAL, who are aged and/or disabled with CalAIM CS needs.  
 
Distinguishing Characteristics
The Social Worker II screens applicants’ eligibility for CalAIM CS services. Qualifications

Licensure/Certification:

About the Position

The Public Works Maintenance Worker I is an entry-level classification in the Maintenance Worker series. Accountant I

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:

Maintenance Worker I:  This is the entry level class in the maintenance worker series. Positions in this class normally perform a variety of unskilled and semi‑skilled maintenance tasks. Although trucks and other motorized equipment may be operated by a Maintenance Worker I, the equipment is used on a training basis or for tasks which are repetitious in nature. Maintenance Worker II: This is the journey level in the maintenance worker series. • Interview and evaluates clients for specific program services eligibility and/or employment opportunities, including service needs assessment and crisis intervention, to assist individuals/families in achieving self-sufficiency. 
• Conducts orientation workshops for new and returning participants; explains regulations, rules and policies to clients and apprises them of their rights and responsibilities for program participation.
• Receives and responds to inquiries regarding program services from clients, other agencies, and the general public.
