About This Role
The San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team in this newly created classification. You will maintain fire apparatus and department vehicles for the communities of Belmont, Foster City, and San Mateo. Woodside Fire Protection District offers an exceptional Cadet Program for individuals interested in a career in the Fire Service. Cadets gain hands-on experience participating in training and public service events. Cadets work 24-hour shifts and ride-along on emergency calls.
Woodside Cadets will work and be involved in:
Emergency calls, firefighter training, public education events, fire prevention, station duties, CERPP, CPR/first aid training. They must also meet monthly hour requirements and attend monthly training drills.
