Under supervision, the Community Service Officer (CSO) performs a wide range of field and office support duties in the patrol and support services divisions within the Marysville Police Department.
This is a specialized, full-time, non-sworn classification. The Community Service Officer has no powers of arrest.
To perform varied and routine non-sworn duties with emphasis on parking enforcement and vehicle abatement program.

Positions in the Community Services Officer I/II classification series are funded by the City's General Fund, allocated to the Police Department Budget.
Special Pay Incentives:
The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for a Fire Prevention Officer in the Community and Development Services Agency, Building and Code Enforcement department. Under general direction of a department or agency head in the Community Development and Services Agency, the Fire Prevention Officer plans, directs, coordinates and implements a comprehensive fire prevention and life safety program for the County and participating fire districts.
$5,793 to $7,392 monthly, paid bi-weeklyExcellent Benefit Package
Current Base pay includes a 12% increase effective 10/31/2021, per the POA MOU
