The Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Enterprise GIS Manager position as a member of the Technology Services Division. This position is a senior level technical manager who is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day Enterprise GIS services and planning. This position will also be leading large scale enterprise projects as well as leading technical engineers.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Associate Engineer classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.

About the Position:
The Water Resources Intern will work principally on a single, long-term water resources monitoring project. Additional smaller projects may include plant, wildlife, archeology and/or ecological restoration projects. Responsibilities will include gathering field data for the stream sediment study, working with volunteers to assist in data gathering, organizing field work, and analyzing data. Other duties may include GIS mapping, researching and preparing summaries for various projects, and maintaining equipment.
About the Position:
The Conservation Biology Intern responsibilities include identifying plant and wildlife species and pathogens in the field, GIS mapping, researching and preparing written summaries of local species, collecting and organizing data in spreadsheets and databases. Work duties will provide training in a broad range of natural resource management techniques, environmental analysis, habitats, and tools.
