The City of Sunnyvale is recruiting for the position of Assistant Civilian Fire Marshal. The primary role of the ACFM is to serve as technical assistant to the Civilian Fire Marshal interpreting and enforcing the provisions of the fire, building and municipal codes of the city particularly as they pertain to fire and life safety of new construction and fire protection systems; manage the Fire Protection Engineering Unit of the Department of Public Safety; and serve as the primary liaison with the design community.
Electrician I: annual salary range is $80,246.40 - $97,656.00, hourly range is $38.58 - $46.95
Electrician II: annual salary range is $84,302.40 - $102,564.80, hourly range is $40.53 - $49.31
NOTE: The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate?s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Electrician classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The salary range for this position is $47,777.60 - $65,582.40.
In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Police Data Specialist classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Department is currently recruiting to fill multiple Building Inspector Combination (BIC) positions in the Building Division. A Building Inspector Combination reviews plans, issues permits, and performs field inspections for a variety of buildings and structures being constructed, altered or repaired to ensure compliance with building, plumbing, mechanical and electrical codes and related Federal, State and local regulations. Specific position assignments will vary depending on the business needs of the Department.
The City of Sunnyvale is seeking to fill the position of Public Safety Dispatcher with an energetic and highly motivated individual who possesses excellent customer service, technical and interpersonal skills.
Under general supervision of the Senior Public Safety Dispatcher, processes emergency and non-emergency calls for service; dispatches police, fire-fighting, medical, rescue, animal control or other emergency equipment, by telephone or radio, utilizing complex technical aids, such as computer aided dispatch systems (CAD); and performs related work as required.
