Maintenance Worker I
Under supervision, performs unskilled and semi-skilled tasks. Performs both routine and heavy, physical work in the construction, maintenance, repair and cleaning of streets, parks and facilities; performs related work as assigned.

Under general supervision, the new team member will perform sub-professional engineering work involving manual and computer drafting, traffic data gathering, records management, map interpretation and processing, retrieval of information, assist with field surveys, and to do related work as required. The Public Works Director/Town Engineer, a key member of the Town Manager's Executive Team, is responsible for the planning, managing and overseeing the design, engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of public works infrastructure (i.e., streets and roads, sidewalk, storm drain system, buildings/ facilities, parks and grounds); project and construction management of public construction projects of all town buildings and facilities; and engineering review for private project development.
