The City is seeking a Division Manager to manage all services and activities in the Benefits Division of the Human Resources Department. The Benefits Manager will report to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for administering the City of San José's extensive benefits program, which includes insurance programs and other health, financial and professional benefits. Minimum Qualifications

Employment Standards

The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Building Inspector II to provide building construction inspections.  Our Building Safety team works as one solution-driven, cohesive team, and encourages leadership from the ground-up. Are you the next Building Inspector II to join our team?

The Building Inspector II is under the direction of the Senior Building Inspector. This position is part of a 12-person building inspection team working on a variety of projects from single-family, remodel, commercial tenant improvements in existing and new buildings, new construction of large development projects such as townhomes, apartments, hotels, and Class A office buildings.

The District 8 Council Office, supporting Councilmember Domingo Candelas, is recruiting for a Chief of Staff position. The position will work closely with the Councilmember and lead the staff support team for the Councilmember. The Senior Educational Facilities Planner (Sr. Planner) provides professional planning services that guide the physical development of the campus and assists in strategic development and improvement of buildings and space to support UCSC's mission of research, teaching, and public service. As a senior member of the unit, the Sr. Planner is the resident expert on campus and UC policy regarding capital matters, and provides assistance and support in all areas of planning for CPSM staff, campus leadership. They also act as liaison to the Office of Capital Planning at the UC Office of the President.

The Sr. Planner uses skills as a seasoned, experienced planning professional with a full understanding of industry practices and procedures to resolve a wide range of planning issues; uses advanced planning concepts and objectives to resolve highly complex issues; develops short and long range capital plans, demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for analyzing alternatives and recommending solutions; exhibits high levels of organization; recommends revisions to proceedures and policies to improve efficiency, and is able to operate with considerable independence.

Capital Planning and Space Management (CPSM) is a unit within the Division of Business Administration (BAS.) As a member of BAS, CPSM supports the Office of the Chancellor and Campus Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor in the areas of capital financial planning and policy analysis.
