About the Role
The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill several part-time Maintenance Worker positions and to establish an Eligibility List. In this entry level class in the Public Works Maintenance Worker series, employees are trained and learn to become gradually more independent in, performing unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor in the repair, maintenance, construction, landscaping and cleanup of public works, parks and city facilities and services.
The City of Patterson’s Finance Department is seeking to fill two (2) part-time Cashier positions and to establish an Eligibility List. Under direct supervision, the Cashier receives, accounts for, and reconciles cash, checks, and electronic payments. This position is responsible for collecting and maintaining revenue and transaction records. Incumbents receive, post, issue receipts, reconcile, and balance deposits daily. Revenues collected include utility billing payments, various municipal services, and recreational program fees.
