As a Senior Customer Service Representative, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests. As the primary point of contact, supervises part-time staff, enforces Silliman Center policies, assists in training staff, and serves as the primary contact for customers. This position requires you to work at our indoor water park and recreation center.

The Camp Director is primarily responsible for general and/or specialty camps. The Camp Director is responsible for all aspects of camp planning and implementation of camp programming.

• Plan and implement daily and weekly activities
• Develop, schedule and supervise part-time staff and "Counselors in Training"
• Handling parent and community inquiries
• Conducting weekly staff meetings

• Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED

General supervision is provided by a coordinator or Recreation Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age and one year experience in a recreation related field (or equivalent) or two years working experience as a leader in a recreation program or similar work experience (one year equals two full summers of program); preferable with school age children
• Possession of Class "C" California Driver's License and a good driving record (3 year, no points) from DMV
• Must have experience planning camp activities for school age children in a variety of settings (after school, child care and classroom experience may be substituted)
• Must have strong organizational skills and work independently and reliably complete tasks
• Must be able to work in changing climates (indoors and outdoors)
• Must be physical ability to load/unload, and carry bundles of supplies up to 25 lbs.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

· Ability to requisition supplies and/or purchasing program supplies within City guidelines

• Must be able to establish and maintain productive relations and positive attitudes with coworkers to provide a positive experience for children and provide feedback for parents

The Guest Service Team Member is responsible for providing the highest quality of guest service to all guests. The Guest Service Team Member is expected to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

• Provide outstanding guest service while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information throughout the Park
• Complete all daily opening and closing tasks in a timely manner

• Accurately count til amounts at the beginning and end of each shift
• Report transactions accurately including cash, coupon, credit card and complimentary sales
• Assist in preparing food and guest orders

• Assist with Park and Waterpark events as directed
• Monitor entrance and exit of guests at admission gates and accurately record hourly admission counts from each turnstile while directing a large amount of guests through turnstiles
• Process season pass holders accurately and in a timely manner

SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECIEVED

The position is supervised by the Guest Service Lead and the Food Service/Catering Coordinator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a minimum of fifteen (15) years of age
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Must maintain positive and productive working relationships with others
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Must be team player and partner with other team members in order to complete the assigned tasks
• Must complete the required Cashier Standard Operating Procedures training and pass the test
• Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler card valid in Alameda County.
• Physical requirement include:
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs
  • Ability to lift and maneuver at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, kneel stoop, push, and pull

The Coordinator is responsible for providing the highest quality of guest service to all visitors. The Coordinator will be responsible for administrative duties and assist at various City facilities, as assigned. In addition, the Coordinator will monitor facility rentals and support the special events. This is potentially a year around part time position.

The Facility Attendant provides operational supervision of community centers during the absence of full-time staff. Work hours may vary but will often be evenings, weekends and occasionally weekdays. The location of the facility will be discussed during the interview and may be for multiple locations depending on availability.
