The County of Yuba Probation Department is currently recruiting for both Full-Time and Extra-Help Control Room Operators for the Youth Detention Facilities. Under general supervision, the Control Room Operator monitors video and audio equipment to ensure the safety and security of youths and staff in secured detention youth facilities; maintains records and performs a variety of complex, technical or specialized office support related to the operation of the Tri-County Juvenile Hall and the Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center; and performs other duties as assigned.
The City of Rocklin is looking for an Office Assistant II for the Public Services Department to provide clerical support and customer service assistance. Responsibilities will include working at the front counter of the Permit Center, meeting and greeting customers and directing them accordingly, handling phones, responding to emails and correspondence, maintaining records, reviewing forms for completeness and accuracy, scanning documents, data entry, mail distribution, and other general office duties.
The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) Ranger is a challenging generalist position offering a wide variety of responsibilities and opportunities to exercise independent judgment while working on Midpen preserves. Rangers patrol on foot, in all-terrain vehicles, on motorcycles, and in four-wheel drive patrol trucks. Rangers ensure safe public use of preserves and provide visitors information while enforcing Midpen land use regulations and applicable laws. Rangers also respond to emergency calls including medical aid and wildland fires.
