Under general supervision, the Police Records Assistant performs a variety of general administrative, clerical, and customer service duties involved in the maintenance, processing, and distribution of Police records, including serving as a call-taker and assisting in office support duties; and performs related work as required. The Police Records Assistant receives general supervision from a Sergeant and functional direction from the Police Records Specialist; exercises no direct supervision.

Under general supervision of the District Secretary, provides professional-level, administrative and support duties for the District Secretary and the Board of Directors. The classification independently performs a wide variety of complex, technical, and time-sensitive administrative duties and assumes the responsibilities for the Assistant District Secretary in his/her absence.
