The San Jose Police Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Police Geographic Information Systems Analyst position in the Systems Development Division of the Bureau of Technical Services. This is a professional-level position in the IT professional management series and is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day Police GIS services, system integration, and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system support. This position will provide GIS services and support across the Police Department, including technical solutions and automation for the Crime Analysis unit.

The Department of Library and Community Services, Community Services Division is seeking a qualified individual to provide temporary administrative/cash handling support at the Baylands Park Gatehouse.
Essential Job Functions:(May include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Collect vehicle entry fee at Baylands Park Gatehouse.
- Sell, log and distribute Season Passes.
- Perform general housekeeping inside gatehouse.
- Reconcile and prepare deposit at end of each day
- General customer service.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Messenger Clerk classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Messenger Clerk performs, under immediate supervision, work of routine difficulty in the collection and delivery of documents and materials to City departments and locations throughout the City. Performs routine clerical tasks as required.
