The Teen Recreation Specialist reports directly to the Recreation Coordinator/Recreation Supervisor. This positions’ primary responsibilities are to coordinate a variety of enriching programs, events, activities for teens. The Recreation Specialist for Contract Classes reports directly to the Recreation Coordinator/Recreation Supervisor. This position’s primary responsibilities are to recruit and hire contract instructors to offer diverse and enriching programs and classes through the Recreation & Community Services Department. This is a temporary, part time position that averages 30-38 hours per week depending on the needs of the department.
Under the general direction of the Administrative Services & Human Resources Director/Risk Manager, manage, plan, coordinate, participate in, and supervise the activities of the Fleet Section including all new vehicle purchasing, vehicle maintenance, and vehicle disposal. Assigned functions are equipment and vehicle mechanic services which City personnel and contractors provide. This is an exempt, mid-management level position that is charged with managing the Fleet function to include related regulatory compliance requirements and reporting.
Under general supervision, performs responsible, professional work in organizing, supervising, and coordinating City-wide recreation programs and activities, Positions assigned to this role are responsible for major and multiple program areas and are expected to participate in planning, budgeting, and evaluating programs. The Supervisor receives direction from the Recreation Director or Recreation Manager and must be able to supervise assigned full-time, part-time personnel and volunteers.
