The Public Works Maintenance Worker I/II/III position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled labor in the construction, maintenance and repair of County roads, bridges, culverts and other related structures, and in various traffic control maintenance and repair activities or in the various solid waste site activities of the Public Works Agency; operates a variety of construction, maintenance and transportation equipment as necessary to complete daily tasks at the Glenn County Public Works Agency.
The Deputy Probation Officer I/II/III position in the Probation Department investigate cases of juvenile delinquency or dependency and adult applicants for probation; supervise and counsel juveniles and adults on probation; prepares reports and recommendations for court. Provides professional casework services to adult and juvenile offenders involving the referral, supervision and rehabilitation of juveniles and adults on probation; and provides advocacy and related services to victims of crimes.
About the Position
The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Sheriff’s Records Clerk within the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department. Under general supervision, this incumbent provides difficult, technical, complex or specialized work relating to Sheriff’s department records and associated automated information systems, and performs related work as assigned. This position is often the first point of contact for the Sheriff’s Department.

The Crossing Guard position is a temporary position, approximately five hours per day, two (2) hours in the morning and three (2) hours in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. Crossing Guards work a school year (September through June). Applicants must be able to work outdoors, have reliable transportation or ability to report to assignment consistently.
