The California Children's Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Unit (MTU) is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to provide a full range of physical therapy treatments/services to children with physical disabilities from birth to 21 years at special education sites. This is a journey-level non-sworn classification in the Police Department that performs the full range of duties related property and evidence as well as assists the patrol officers with minor evidence collection, reporting writing and responding to related calls for service as needed to effectively provide police services. Incumbents are expected to work independently and exercise judgment and initiative.

Pay: $25.00 Hourly

Part-time/ limited to maximum of 960 hours in a fiscal year.

This position is located in the City offices.

The Accounting intern performs routine and/or general assistance tasks with variable difficulty. This assignment is to work within the finance department. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to network with professionals in local government and to observe firsthand the efforts of the City to resolve complex issues of policy and governance.

The salary range for Staff Specialist is approximately $76,330.80 - $92,820.00 annually. This amount includes an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable pay. Actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates' qualifications and experience.

This is a class-based recruitment. Staff Specialists perform paraprofessional administrative work of considerable complexity in various areas of public administration. An employee in this class performs a variety of administrative assignments related to the execution of administrative detail and assisting in departmental administrative service areas. A Staff Specialist may act as a lead to lower-level clerical classifications but is primarily an individual contributor with a high level of expertise in generalized office administration.
Typical duties and results may include:

• • Create surveys and compile data for general or departmental use; perform statistical and clerical work by creating, analyzing and preparing reports, and abstract written materials.
  • Participate in budget preparation and review by assembling and analyzing data of operating departments, such as staffing and equipment requests.
  • Provide assistance with personnel functions such as position control, interviewing, benefits, handling routine grievances, disciplinary actions, classification matters, claims, employee relations, and interpretation of personnel rules and procedures.
  • Supervise the maintenance of files and records, including automated recordkeeping systems; developing filing systems and procedures for file use; and ensure irretrievability of filed information.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

StopWaste is hiring an Energy Council Program Services Specialist to work on Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) programs. The position will conduct community outreach and engage with stakeholders to make energy upgrades and electrify multifamily and single family buildings in Alameda County and the larger Bay Area. It will also work on growing and strengthening the clean energy workforce to help achieve energy and climate goals. The ideal candidate will have deep experience engaging and developing relationships with community partners. The position may be filled at the Program Services Specialist I, II, or Senior role depending on the applicant pool and the discretion of StopWaste staff.
