THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for an individual to serve as a Clinical Therapist I/II for the Adult Outpatient Program (AOP). The Clinical Therapist I/II will appeal to individuals who are inspired by challenges and opportunities presented in working with an engaged and active community with moderate to severe behavioral health clients. 

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Provides individual, group, and family interventions, rehabilitation, and treatment services including counseling, therapy, case management, and referral and linkage to community services to a variety of clients including high acuity clients.

• Within scope of authority, assesses, diagnoses, and treats a variety of clients with mental health disorders; collaborates with clients and creates individualized treatments plans according to client’s needs and circumstances.

• Initiates and conducts individual, group, and family counseling and biopsychosocial therapy sessions utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities; provides case management services in the office and in the field.

• Performs routine and emergency intake evaluations according to Authority procedure; completes appropriate forms and documents relating to the intake process; and prepares medical and demographic case history for use in diagnosis.

• Assists clients and family members in understanding behavioral health diagnosis, contributing factors/causes, effects, prognosis, rehabilitation, and treatment.

• Works with clients to address stressors and barriers to treatment and/or social functioning; identifies and focuses on client strengths and personal resources to effectively engage and treat client.

The Engineering Group Manager – Facilities will oversee a diverse and talented team responsible for managing the planning, design, and construction of capital projects at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). This individual will lead the delivery of high-impact projects ranging from transit infrastructure upgrades to the improvement and rehabilitation of maintenance yards and other critical facilities. The role includes overseeing staff, consultants, and stakeholders in the successful execution of these projects, while also ensuring compliance with VTA’s overall objectives and community needs.

THE JOB

The Executive Director will serve as a visionary leader for the organization and is responsible for coordinating and expanding various mental health services, ensuring team members are meeting desirable outcomes and providing excellence in service to the communities. They will direct the development of organization-wide goals, policies, and procedures and keep the Governing Board aware of financial conditions, program progress, and the organization’s needs. This job requires financial savvy and organizational development expertise. Implementing strategic plans is essential for this role, as it involves spearheading innovative change. Additionally, the Executive Director must be able to provide policy guidance and ensure compliance with governmental regulations. They will also serve as a representative of TCMHA in meetings with governmental agencies, community groups, and other key stakeholders.

Tri-City is currently looking for one (1) individual to fill a vacancy for the full-time Office Assistant position, within Centralized Scheduling. The Office Assistant is responsible for performing the full range of duties as assigned.

This position will perform the following essential duties, including, but not limited to:

• Primarily will work within our electronic health record and call clients or take incoming calls to schedule appointments and reschedule missed appointments. 

• Complete daily reminder appointment calls. 

• Performs a variety of office support duties related to the assigned work unit; gathers information from a variety of sources, including data systems and clients for the completion and processing of forms, records, and other documents; contacts individuals, other departments, or agencies to obtain additional information.

• Receives and screens visitors; provides general information to clients, visitors, vendors, and staff, in person and on the telephone; assists clients by referring them to sources of information, hands out standard forms and explains how to complete them; answers requests for information or refers to other Authority staff.

• Inputs, updates, tracks, and extracts information into appropriate databases, billing systems and files; searches records and files for pertinent data.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for one individual to serve as a Facilities Maintenance Worker for the Facilities Department. The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for independently performing routine and semiskilled maintenance and repair work. This position will report to the Facilities & Safety Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of Authority and leased properties; responds to work order requests and keeps reports and records of completed job; conducts daily mail runs for Authority staff.

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled labor related to the maintenance, repair, and modification of buildings and facilities; performs minor carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing work.

• Performs routine painting of interior and exterior surfaces; moves and secures furniture, wall fixtures, equipment, and a variety of floor coverings; determines supplies needs and prepares orders for supplies and materials.

• Ensures cleanliness of the Authority’s interior and exteriors premises, cleans windows, cleans, and sanitizes spills and debris.

• Modifies and repairs plumbing fixtures, including toilets, sinks, or related elements.

• Maintains and restocks emergency and sanitation supplies including water, food supplies, batteries, radios, and other related items.

• Performs related duties as required.

Capital Project Manager I is an entry-level position.  The incumbent will have acquired capital improvement, open space planning and design, land use, natural resource protection, and/or public administration experience, or equivalent education and training.  Assignments are generally limited in scope and set within procedural frameworks. The CPM I is assigned to manage small-scale projects or in support of larger scale projects managed by experienced Capital Project Managers.

Capital Project Manager II is the first experienced-level class in the Capital Project Manager series.  The incumbent performs the basic range of engineering review and construction management duties and/or conceptual design in the following areas: capital improvement, open space / public access, land use, and natural resource protection. The CPM II typically performs most of the duties required of the CPM III but are not expected to function at the same skill level.  Applicants with construction inspection, civil engineering, landscape architecture, project management, and/or construction management backgrounds are highly desired.

Work Environment/Conditions:  This position is part of the Engineering and Construction Department at the Midpen’s offices in Los Altos, California. Midpen offers a hybrid office/telecommute work schedule for this position.

Capital Project Managers will often work in the field and hike through steep terrain and wildland areas with poison oak and wildlife.  Field work will require driving in remote areas on dirt roads, working in temperatures ranging from cold and blustery to hot and dry. ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Civil Engineer will work under the direction of the City Engineer and/or the Public Works Director and will lead the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Section. The Senior Civil Engineer classification is an exempt, mid-management level position.

Public Works CIP projects involve planning, design, coordination with end users, bid package preparation, and construction management. Additionally, successful performance requires the ability to independently implement programs, projects, and policies in conformance with generally accepted standards, including possessing thorough knowledge of contract administration, project management principles and supervisory practices.
