The City of Pacifica is recruiting for a Wastewater Plant Operations Manager within the Department of Public Works Wastewater Division. Under direction, the incumbent will plan, organize and manage the activities of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations, and coordinates assigned City wide programs and operations activities with other departments, divisions and outside agencies.
Under direction of the new Chief Plant Operator, operate and maintain one or more water treatment plants and the City’s wastewater treatment plant on an assigned shift or in a specified geographic area; to inspect and make minor repairs on water and wastewater equipment and facilities; to assist in the minor repair and maintenance of water and wastewater Treatment plant equipment; and to do related work as required.
