The Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking to fill 16 full-time Maintenance Assistant positions.

The Maintenance Assistant total salary range is $24.74 to $31.56 hourly or $51,459.20 to $65,644.80 annually . The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates' qualifications and experience.

The Infrastructure Maintenance Division of DOT is looking to fill 16 full-time vacant positions. These positions perform work in the maintenance and repair of concrete, pavement, sewers, landscaping, traffic signs, and traffic markings. Duties include digging holes, trenches, and ditches. They also operate a wide range of hand, mechanical, and power tools, as well as a variety of light and heavy vehicles, trucks, and equipment relevant to work performed, ensuring compliance with safe working practices. Maintenance crews provide services seven days a week. Individuals in this classification may be required to work alternate work shifts, including grave and swing, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call.

The position of Administrative Analyst is a fully qualified journey-level professional classification. The Associate Electrical Engineer will support the 24 x 7 continuous Water Utility raw, treated, and purified water operations, capital improvement projects, annual maintenance work plan, and asset management plans. They will be responsible for the planning, design, development, implementation, modification, installation, and maintenance of the Water Utility's critical electrical distribution systems in the area of water pumping, conveyance and treatment while ensuring work quality and adherence to professional codes, standards, and Valley Water specifications.

The Department: 
 The Assistant City Clerk’s Office/City Manager’s Office is recruiting to fill a Deputy City Clerk. The Assistant City Clerk’s Office is organized under the City Clerk’s Office.  The Office of the Assistant City Clerk processes the agendas for and attends all meetings of the Council and Authorities Concurrent and Stadium Authority meetings, maintains accurate and up-to-date records of the proceedings of those meetings and makes those records open for public inspection. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk processes and maintains copies of City contracts, ordinances, resolutions and other official documents. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk manages and compiles City records in accordance with the Records Retention Schedule and in response to Public Records Act requests. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk administers campaign and disclosure laws, the Campaign Finance Ordinance, Regulation of Lobbying Activities program and the Calendars of Certain City Officials program. The Office of the Assistant City Clerk also administers oaths of affirmation pertaining to the affairs and business of the City and certifies copies of official records.
 
 The Position: 
 The Deputy City Clerk will report to the Assistant City Clerk and perform highly complex administrative and analytical work. This position will assist the Assistant City Clerk in the administration of the City Clerk's Office. The incumbent will assist in developing, implementing and coordinating projects, programs and procedures. This position is responsible for assisting with Public Record Act (PRA) requests and this position will also support projects and programs within the City Manager’s Office. Incumbents in this position will have considerable independence in making judgment related to their assignments and must handle situations with great sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. May supervise or act as lead worker to staff involved in management activities.  
 
As a member of the City's unclassified service, this is an "at-will" position. The incumbent serves at the discretion of the City Manager.

The Position: 

The Utility Crew Supervisor is a lead supervisory classification in the Water and Sewer Utility Department. An incumbent in this classification is responsible for performing the most difficult and responsible technical duties and supervising the work of an assigned crew in a specialty area such as water construction and maintenance, water meter testing and maintenance, and sewer system maintenance. The Utility Crew Supervisor is distinguished from the Assistant Water Superintendent in that the latter is responsible for overseeing a Program in the Water Construction, Maintenance, and Operations Division.

The Sr. Information Systems Analyst is responsible for advanced networking and server virtualization in both our Corporate and Scada (Industrial) networks. They are expected to have advanced analytical/problem solving skills, perform highly complex configurations, extensive experience in advanced networking/server deployments, IT SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), Cybersecurity experience, SaaS deployments, and PaaS deployments. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Test, implement, and maintain highly complex configurations/gear for core network switches, routers, firewalls, PaaS, and monitoring devices.
• Test, implement, and maintain highly complex configurations/gear for virtualized, physical servers, and SaaS environments.
