The Position

The Town of Atherton invites you to apply for the position of Front Desk Receptionist / Clerk for the City Manager’s Office. The position requires an individual to provide responsible professional, administrative, and technical assistance to support the City Manager’s Office which includes City Clerk functions. The individual will provide administrative support and general reception for the Town Hall. The administrative functions include, but are not limited to, supporting activities to promote and prepare for Town meetings, processing applications for permits, customer service and public interaction related to Town programs and services, special projects based on needs; and assisting in office management functions.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in providing support for community events that will include assistance with public engagement, planning, and outreach.
• Assist with preparing public meeting agenda packages and materials.
• Maintain files and filing systems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Provides support with calculating, preparing, issuing and/or submitting bills invoices, and other payment records for services.
• Provides general administrative support to the City Manager’s Office that may include drafting and maintaining departmental records, tracking and filing Town contracts.

The position will occasionally back up the City Clerk at evening meetings.

The Behavioral Health Clinician I/II performs a variety of professional duties in the provision of outpatient and crisis behavioral health services to individuals and groups. This person will work with complex casework which may include clinics, criminal justice, adult services, youth and family services, and other mental health settings where they may be asked to  respond to crisis situations, work with case managers and psychiatrists in treatment teams and be familiar with various treatment modalities to ensure clients are in appropriate treatment services. The position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.

JOB DUTIES

• Provides professional mental health outpatient evaluation, consultation, and treatment services to individuals and groups.
• Performs client intake procedures.
• Provides individual, group, and family counseling on a variety of mental health problems and substance use disorders; develops treatment plans; provides follow-up counseling and assists clients with the resolution of problems.
• Observes clients on-site at schools, etc., as necessary; conducts home visits as necessary. Consults with psychiatrist and other clinical staff about treatment planning for clients.
• Provides psychotherapy to children and adult clients or their relatives through individual or group therapy methods.
• Performs performance outcome measures and completes related administrative work.

Tri-City is currently hiring to fill one full time vacancy for a bilingual Office Specialist. The Office Specialist provides difficult, complex, and specialized administrative support to assigned departmental projects and programs; develops, summarizes, and maintains administrative and financial records; types, edits, processes, distributes, and files a variety of documents; enters data and information into various databases and computer systems; and performs related duties as assigned.

This position will perform the following essential duties, including, but not limited to:

• Performs technical and procedural work in support for an assigned department, division, or program; applies technical procedures, methods, and techniques to support program and functions and processes; monitors and explains operational and program requirements and processes to various stakeholders.

• Provides information to the public or Authority Staff that requires the use of independent judgment, compliance with laws and interpretation of policies, rules and procedures.

• Greets and provides general information to clients, visitors, vendors, and staff, in person and on the telephone, in a professional manner; schedules appointments and meetings, and maintains calendars; assists clients by referring them to applicable sources of information; distributes applications and forms, and explains how to complete them; answers requests for information by consulting various available sources.

• Verifies and reviews calculations, forms, data, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with established Authority regulations and procedures.

• Types, formats, edits, revises, proofreads, tracks, and prints a variety of narrative, statistical, and technical documents, reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other documents and materials.

• Inputs, updates, tracks, and extracts information into appropriate databases and billing systems; searches records and files for data.

• Under the supervision of Medication Support Team manager or assigned designee, candidate will be responsible for scheduling all Initial Medication Evaluations, as well as keeping count of number of IME’s scheduled, attempts made, rescheduling, removal of candidates and all necessary functions related to the scheduling of IME, including documentation of action taken per Electronic Health Record.

• Completion of all Pharmacy requisitions and flex funds as indicated on a monthly basis.

• Under the Supervision of Medical Director-Compile Weekly Initial Medical Eval Reports, Monthly IME reports, blocking of all MD schedules including for vacations, trainings and meetings.

The Part-Time Golf Service Assistant is responsible for performing customer service and cash handling tasks in accordance with standard procedures and following specific instructions from the supervising staff. The Golf Service Assistant classification is distinguished from the higher classification of Assistant Golf Professional in that the latter has increased level of responsibility, such as explaining and enforcing rules of the game of golf, equipment repair, golf starting, and event coordination.

THE JOB

The Executive Director will serve as a visionary leader for the organization and is responsible for coordinating and expanding various mental health services, ensuring team members are meeting desirable outcomes and providing excellence in service to the communities. They will direct the development of organization-wide goals, policies, and procedures and keep the Governing Board aware of financial conditions, program progress, and the organization’s needs. This job requires financial savvy and organizational development expertise. Implementing strategic plans is essential for this role, as it involves spearheading innovative change. Additionally, the Executive Director must be able to provide policy guidance and ensure compliance with governmental regulations. They will also serve as a representative of TCMHA in meetings with governmental agencies, community groups, and other key stakeholders.

Under general supervision, an Employee Assistance Counselor provides clinical assessment, short-term counseling and referral of City and County employees experiencing difficulties related to personal or work-related problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, emotional concerns or relationship issues. A Counselor conducts seminars, trainings, and consultations on issues related to personal and organizational wellness; prepares records and reports; and performs related duties as required.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Provides clinical assessment, short-term counseling and referral services to employees of the City and County who are experiencing difficulties related to personal or work-related problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, emotional concerns or relationship issues; provides counseling of family members and significant others as appropriate.
2. Facilitates seminars and trainings for employees and management on personal, interpersonal and organizational issues such as the effective management of stress, anger and emotions, workplace negativity and dealing with difficult people.
3. Assists in evaluation efforts to determine the effectiveness of services provided.
4. Educates employees, supervisors and managers regarding EAP service offerings, how to access services, early identification of personal and workplace problems, and referrals to the program.
5. Provides trauma response, crisis intervention and mediation/conflict resolution services as requested.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for one individual to serve as a Facilities Maintenance Worker for the Facilities Department. The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for independently performing routine and semiskilled maintenance and repair work. This position will report to the Facilities & Safety Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of Authority and leased properties; responds to work order requests and keeps reports and records of completed job; conducts daily mail runs for Authority staff.

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled labor related to the maintenance, repair, and modification of buildings and facilities; performs minor carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing work.

• Performs routine painting of interior and exterior surfaces; moves and secures furniture, wall fixtures, equipment, and a variety of floor coverings; determines supplies needs and prepares orders for supplies and materials.

• Ensures cleanliness of the Authority’s interior and exteriors premises, cleans windows, cleans, and sanitizes spills and debris.

• Modifies and repairs plumbing fixtures, including toilets, sinks, or related elements.

• Maintains and restocks emergency and sanitation supplies including water, food supplies, batteries, radios, and other related items.

• Performs related duties as required.

• Support the administration of power purchase agreements (herein, referred as "contracts"), including monitoring and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Review, understand and interpret contracts; Support development of processes to ensure that the contracts are managed and settled timely, accurately, efficiently and in compliance with the contracted terms.
• Prepare, review and verify the accuracy of settlement statements and invoices for contracts.
• Support the administration of contract prepayment transaction activities related to invoices settlement.
• Interpret, analyze, communicate and resolve issues that arise during contract administration and support the dispute resolution process.
• Identify and flag any problems related to administration of existing contracts and suggest improvement for future contracts. Support implementation of process improvements in contract management.

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill three (3) full-time vacancies for the position of Psychiatric Technician I/II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). Tri-City’s MCCP is a 24/7 mobile crisis response team with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays. Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Psychiatric Technician I/II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client’s (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;

• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedures;

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;

• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;

• Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them;

• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.

• Perform triage and linkages to non-client community members in the Tri-City catchment areas.

• Perform critical incident debriefs at the request of a community partner.

• Ability to respond to a mobile crisis in the community catchment area (Pomona, Claremont, and La Verne) within 60 minutes of disposition.

• Follow up with clients who receive mobile crisis services and collaborate with the client's treatment team for warm hand-off.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to calls during assigned shifts including: after regular business hours, late evenings, overnight hours, and on weekends; field work may be required.
