The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Housing Specialist I to join the Housing Division in the Community Development Department. Under direction of the Housing Officer, the Housing Specialist I will play a key role in the planning and development of new affordable housing, creating new housing programs, implementing the Housing Element, applying for grants/funding to support affordable housing, and monitoring housing legislation. The Housing Specialist I will perform technical and professional level planning and community development work, with an emphasis on creation and implementation of affordable housing programs. This position will closely collaborate with affordable housing developers, various housing advocacy groups, local non-profits, and the community. The ideal candidate will be a passionate affordable housing professional who is a motivated self-starter able to work independently, while also being a team player who can communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, consultants, and decision-makers. The minimum qualifications for education and experience can be met in the following way:

2. a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in urban planning, architecture or a related field; AND Two years of professional housing programs/policy experience, real estate development, or land use planning program experience

Salary: $53.12 - $67.79 Hourly

The Behavioral Health Clinician I/II performs a variety of professional duties in the provision of outpatient and crisis behavioral health services to individuals and groups. This person will work with complex casework which may include clinics, criminal justice, adult services, youth and family services, and other mental health settings where they may be asked to  respond to crisis situations, work with case managers and psychiatrists in treatment teams and be familiar with various treatment modalities to ensure clients are in appropriate treatment services. The position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.

JOB DUTIES

• Provides professional mental health outpatient evaluation, consultation, and treatment services to individuals and groups.
• Performs client intake procedures.
• Provides individual, group, and family counseling on a variety of mental health problems and substance use disorders; develops treatment plans; provides follow-up counseling and assists clients with the resolution of problems.
• Observes clients on-site at schools, etc., as necessary; conducts home visits as necessary. Consults with psychiatrist and other clinical staff about treatment planning for clients.
• Provides psychotherapy to children and adult clients or their relatives through individual or group therapy methods.
• Performs performance outcome measures and completes related administrative work.

• Verifies and reviews calculations, forms, data, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with established Authority regulations and procedures.

• Types, formats, edits, revises, proofreads, tracks, and prints a variety of narrative, statistical, and technical documents, reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other documents and materials.

• Inputs, updates, tracks, and extracts information into appropriate databases and billing systems; searches records and files for data.

• Under the supervision of Medication Support Team manager or assigned designee, candidate will be responsible for scheduling all Initial Medication Evaluations, as well as keeping count of number of IME’s scheduled, attempts made, rescheduling, removal of candidates and all necessary functions related to the scheduling of IME, including documentation of action taken per Electronic Health Record.

• Completion of all Pharmacy requisitions and flex funds as indicated on a monthly basis.

• Under the Supervision of Medical Director-Compile Weekly Initial Medical Eval Reports, Monthly IME reports, blocking of all MD schedules including for vacations, trainings and meetings.

The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda is looking for a team-oriented professional to work as a Housing Specialist II (HS II) in the Housing Program Department. This position will focus on the Family Sufficiency Program (FSS) including coordination of activities, counseling, and evaluation of participants in the Family Self-Sufficiency program; provides or arranges for training programs, conducts orientations, evaluations, and appraisals of clients, collect data, file reports, provide technical assistance to the Housing Programs & Family Self-Sufficiency and other Authority staff; and housing assistance, including eligibility determination, landlord relations, coordination of activities, and counseling and evaluation of participants in the program.

Under general supervision, an Employee Assistance Counselor provides clinical assessment, short-term counseling and referral of City and County employees experiencing difficulties related to personal or work-related problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, emotional concerns or relationship issues. • An associate degree with coursework in liberal arts, humanities, social work, business, public administration, or a related field.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for one individual to serve as a Facilities Maintenance Worker for the Facilities Department. The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for independently performing routine and semiskilled maintenance and repair work. This position will report to the Facilities & Safety Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of Authority and leased properties; responds to work order requests and keeps reports and records of completed job; conducts daily mail runs for Authority staff.

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled labor related to the maintenance, repair, and modification of buildings and facilities; performs minor carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing work.

• Performs routine painting of interior and exterior surfaces; moves and secures furniture, wall fixtures, equipment, and a variety of floor coverings; determines supplies needs and prepares orders for supplies and materials.

• Ensures cleanliness of the Authority’s interior and exteriors premises, cleans windows, cleans, and sanitizes spills and debris.

• Modifies and repairs plumbing fixtures, including toilets, sinks, or related elements.

• Maintains and restocks emergency and sanitation supplies including water, food supplies, batteries, radios, and other related items.

• Performs related duties as required.
