GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general direction, an incumbent in the Eligibility Worker II class performs progressively responsible and independent work. This classification is journey level of the Eligibility Worker classification series.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Santa Clara County Housing Authority (SCCHA) owns and controls more than 2,600 affordable housing units throughout the County of Santa Clara. Our Local Programs Department oversees all real estate activities: real estate acquisition and development, asset management, property management, resident services, affiliate management, and facilities repair/improvements.
Under general supervision, coordinates and develops a variety of the Santa Clara County Housing Authority’s (Agency) moderately complex, affordable housing development and rehabilitation projects through their entire lifecycle, including developing the scope of work, acquiring the funding necessary for assigned projects, construction management and inspection, and transfer of completed projects to owner/asset management; and performs related work as required.
Under general direction of the Rent Stabilization Administrator, responsible for the planning and direction of all assigned staff and activities associated with the management and operations of the City’s Housing Programs, including rent stabilization activities, affordable housing, anti-displacement initiatives, and compliance with all City regulations.
