POLICE COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHER

Shift differential (3% Swing, 5% Nights)
P.O.S.T. Certificate Pay (3% Public Safety Dispatcher, 5% Records Supervisor)
Bilingual Pay (2.5% Conversational, 5% Full, 10% Expert)

A Dispatcher I is a civilian employee of the Police Department who performs a variety of tasks in the Department’s Support Services Division. The Dispatcher I receives incoming calls for police assistance and response; acts as a primary Dispatcher when appropriate; performs a variety of general support duties related to police communications; completes a wide variety of general clerical duties.
The Dispatcher I duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Under general supervision, the Public Safety Dispatcher receives emergency and non-emergency calls for service and dispatches police and fire units or other public safety personnel; performs data entry and other clerical duties; and performs related work as assigned.
- Basic law enforcement terminology, rules and procedures.
- Modern office methods and procedures, equipment and filing systems.

The City of Dublin is currently accepting applications for part-time Preschool Aide(s) at the Shannon Center Preschool on 11600 Shannon Avenue and at the preschool located at Dublin Elementary School on 7997 Vomac Road. Under the supervision of the Preschool Teacher, assists with organization and instruction of preschool classes for children 18 months through 5 years.

Candidates interested in testing for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher with the Suisun City Police Department must be prepared to take on the challenges of a fast paced work environment.
Part-Time, Temporary/Seasonal (no more than 7 hours per week)
Instruct children and adults (primarily 5-12 years of age) in beginning to intermediate sports camps or programs, such as Badminton, Basketball, Baseball, Cricket, Football, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, etc. Class content should provide basic and/or more advanced game mechanics, strategies, and the rules of sports, depending on the student level of skill. Class must emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship and team play. The goal is to have fun and develop a skill.
