The City of San Dimas is seeking an enthusiastic team player for its Recreation Specialist position. Under direction of the Recreation Coordinator, this position will assist with planning, coordinating, promoting and implementing Kids Fun Club Day Camp program.

JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision, Recreation Leaders are responsible for coordinating and conducting a variety of youth recreation activities, and providing general supervision of children or teens at a summer camp, playground program, sports program and special event. Recreation leaders must be available Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Tuesdays 6:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. and weekends and additional hours as assigned.

The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is looking for people interested in working on an on-call basis providing transportation for various divisions in the Recreation department. Current need is for the PAL (Police Athletics League) winter golf program transporting children, and at the City’s Veterans Memorial Senior Center transporting seniors attending functions at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center or to events downtown plus working with staff on any programmatic needs assistance. Hours will vary based on Center needs and will not exceed 20 hours per week.
