Under general supervision, the Public Safety Specialist – Dispatch , as a member of the Police Department, transmits and receives information over the police and public works radio system; dispatches routine and emergency calls for service; types, records, and files information; handles emergency and non-emergency telephone calls utilizing complex technical aids, such as computer aided dispatch systems (CAD), and performs related work as assigned.
The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill (1) one part-time Maintenance Worker positions and to establish an Eligibility List. Duties include but are not limited: Learn to perform unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor involving the repair, maintenance, and cleanup of public works facilities. Assist with digging out, breaking up and hauling away damaged sidewalks, gutters, curbs, and asphalt pavements. Assist with painting street signs, crossings, crosswalks, curbs and centerlines.
$13.00 - $15.80/hr.

DEFINITION: The Cadet Program is designed to introduce recent high school graduates (ages 18 to 24) to a law enforcement career and to prepare them for entry into the Police Academy. Under direct supervision, the Cadet position performs a wide variety of police support duties and clerical assistance for the Fontana Police Department.
