The City of Belmont is looking for an experienced professional for the position of Budget Manager. Under general direction of the Finance Director, the Budget Manager administers a variety of complex and professional budget and financial support functions within the Finance Department, including preparation and execution of all budgets, reports, accounting records, financial forecasts.
Individuals in this class may have minimal direct experience and will work under immediate supervision while learning job tasks. As an incumbent’s responsibilities and breadth of knowledge increase and as they gain experience, they can reasonably expect the complexity of their assignments and/or responsibility to increase. General supervision is provided by a higher level professional or management position. A Recreation Leader may provide lead direction to part-time or seasonal employees if applicable.
