City Hall, Community Building and Senior Center Duties:
The Community Services Department is seeking highly energetic, customer service oriented individuals to join its team on a part-time, seasonal basis in the following areas: Teen Center, Day Camp, Parks and Playgrounds. Actual work hours and schedule vary according to program and participant needs, and assigned schedules will include weekends, evenings and/or holidays. NOTE: The Summer season begins June 1, 2018, and extends for 8 to 10 weeks after. Summer programs are contingent upon City Council appropriation of program funding for fiscal year 2018-2019.
Incumbents will work a flexible schedule, with increased scheduling during peak workload periods, but less than 1,000 hours during the assignment through the fiscal year starting July 1st and ending June 30th.
Under general supervision, performs analytical, technical, and selected administrative work in the field of urban planning; conducts various studies and research projects; prepares reports for submission to the City Council and/or Planning Commission; participates in special projects as assigned; and perform related work as required.
